Kai closed her laptop. She had released the locks on the room that held Gandal. She raced into the building and ran through the many corridors. She arrived at his door without any troubles. She opened it and burst into the doorway. "Hurry up old man. We can't sit here all day," she said with a smile.

Gandal rose to his feet. "Well hello, I was just having a bit of a chill." He winked at her before scowling, "How the hell did you know I was here?"

"That's not important. Come on! We have to get out of here before they find me."

Gandal nodded still unconvinced. "Understood." He felt grateful for being busted out but he felt something else was behind this; how the hell could she have known exactly where he was? It had to be impossible... unless... She was betraying him and is working for the people that killed his family. Gandal frowned as he ran, I will keep an eye on her.

She ran out the front door and back to the unit. She opened the door and ran into the lounge. "Why did you lie to me?! You didn't have to," she said when Gandal got inside.

"Because... I didn't need you to..." He struggled to find the right words; he didn't want to hurt anyone's feeling; especially in a time like this, "Get involved."

"Involved with what? I'm not stupid but I just want to hear it from you."

Gandal shook his head, "I will tell you when we get back to the casino." He said in a rushed tone.

(We are in the casino.)

Gandal put two hands two his head, cursing under his breath, he moved into his room, slamming the door behind him.

How rude, Kai thought. She walked back to her room and shut the door behind her. She threw her bag to the ground and flopped onto her bed. She shut her eyes and went to sleep.

Gandal rummaged around his room for his laptop, "Do you know where my computer is?" He called.

"No. Why would I. It's your computer," she called back. She opened her eyes and grabbed her own laptop. She opened the lid and deleted her hacks. She did put them in a special file however, in case she needed it again.

Gandal found his laptop after minutes of useless searching. An hour later; he came from his room, "So tell me; how'd you know where I was?"

Kai sighed and pulled up all her hacking she had done that day. She showed it to Gandal and waited for his harsh reply. "I'm a hacker," she said.

Gandal was speechless, "What exactly did you hack?" He said in a reasonably calm voice.

"National Security," she said childishly. "But I got so much random stuff it was hardly even worth my time," she said quickly.

Gandal stared at her, his gaze unmoving, "What did you see of mine?"

"Your what? Your record?" She wasn't exactly sure what he was asking. She hoped he didn't mean his emails and phone calls.

"Why the hell did you hack my PC?" Gandal yelled, anger exploding.

(I didn't say I hacked your emails. It was a thought. Did you notice?)
