Kai looked back at Gandal. She stopped and - honest to god - her heart stopped and skipped two beats after it started again. She ran back to him and grabbed his shirt and pistol, dragging him away. She looked up at the helicopter, tears streaming down her face. "Your not allowed to die on me Gandal. You can't."

Gandal moaned, maybe they weren't his last words. He smiled taking a phone out of his pocket, "Just ring, Jack... He'll know what to do..." One last moan brought his eyes closed.

Kai looked down at Gandal and wept before grabbing the phone and calling Jack. What was she supposed to say? The call went through as the chopper flew away. "Jack? It's Kai. I need your help..."

"We're ready." He said, as he ended the call. And as he said that another chopper arose in the distance; and old chopper that would've been used in World War II. The vehicle sped through the air, engines rumbling and guns opening fire at the other Chopper; the prey.

(??? I am so confused)

Jack's head was visible from the screen of the old chopper as it whizzed over Gandal and Kai's head's; firing at the other helicopter, more hissing of machines arising.

(Oh I hate you)

Kai watched the chopper. She smiled when she saw Jack's face through the screen. "Don't die on me Gandal. Jack's here. He'll look after you." She placed her forehead on his and let the tears fall onto his face. "Don't leave me too."

Jack touched a button on the pad of controls splayed in front of him as a rocket propelled from a canister on the side of the chopper. The rocket whizzed into the other helicopter, the roaring of an explosion shaking the ground. Jack moved the helicopter out of the way, landing it about a dozen metres away from Gandal and Kai.

KAi took her head off of Gandal's and looked up at the chopper. She stood and grabbed his arms, attempting to drag him to the helicopter.

A soft moan escpaed the lips of the dying man as the doors of chopper slid open, two bulky men took Gandal from Kai; bringing him to the vehicle steadily. In the distance; sirens sounded, coming closer with every second that slowly passed. "Move! Move!" Jack yelled, fear crawling into his voice at the state of Gandal.

Kai jumped into the chopper and sat next to Gandal. She grabbed his hand and held tightly, fearing that if she let go he would die.

The Helicopter took off quickly, the whirring of the propellers drowning the sound of the sirens. Jack issued orders to the two large men as they begun to attempt to patch Gandal up until they arrived at a hospital.

Kai began to rock herself in a failed attempt to soothe her nerves and fears. This can't be happening, she thought.

Jack sighed, as the helicopter landed on the heli-pad of a hosital.

<7 hours later in the Hospital>

Kai hadn't slept for almost two days. She was so tired. But she wasn't going to sleep until Gandal woke up. She didn't want to miss him waking.

Gandal's eyes flashed open, he moaned, his vision adjusting to the new surroundings, he looked up at Kai, a smile stretching across his face.

"Gandal. You're awake." She stood and threw her arms around him in a hug, letting a tear fall down her cheek. "I thought I'd lost you," she whispered into his ear.
