"I was wondering why you were being so secretive and I didn't want you doing anything stupid. Turns out I was a little late for the latter." She looked away from him. "I'm sorry. Okay? I just didn't want anyone else to die on me. I've had that happen enough to me in my life."

"What kind of stuff did you see when you hacked my files?" Gandal said, calmness slowly returning to his voice with every word.

"Stuff. Emails, files, internet usage. Stuff like that. Your agenda is really full."

"My emails?" Gandal hissed, "I thought I could trust you!" The anger flared once again.

"I didn't look at all of them. There was at least 2000 emails there. It would have taken me a lifetime to read them." She shook her head. "I wanted to know if I could trust you. You were acting so suspiciously. It scared me," she said sadly.

Gandal shook his head, "Just let me think." And with that he left the apartment.

Kai flopped back on the bed and shut her eyes.

Gandal went to the elevator before stopping; the people that killed my parents... they must die; I will never stop until I find out who they are.

It didn't take long for Kai to fall asleep. She didn't wake until the next morning.

Gandal snuck back into the apartment, back into his room.

Kai woke up screaming the next morning. She stopped and puffed. Her skin was cold to the touch but she felt like se was boiling hot.

Gandal ran into her room; the screen waking him up instantly. "You alright?" He asked nervously.

Kai looked at him. "Fine," she said curling up into a ball. Se hadn't had such a vivid nightmare for years. It felt so real.

"What did you see?" he asked warmly.

"It was nothing. Just a nightmare." She signed ad shut her eyes, a tea falling down her cheek.

Gandal closed his eyes for a few seconds, pulling up a chair next to her bed. He gripped her hand, talking softly into her ear, "Tell me what you saw. Please Kai." He put his free hand around her chest, a warm smile opening up on his lips.

(It was supposed t be a tear)

I saw my family. They were murdered in front of me. For trying to help you. They were murdered by the people who killed your family." she said. Tear fell at their will down her face.

Gandal shook his head, moving his head away; he was speechless....

KA didn't know what to say. She was abandoned by her family yet se still loved them.

Gandal stood, putting the chair back into its place. He left the room without a word.

Kai shut her eyes again and tried to get some sleep.

Gandal stood still once he closed the doors... could the same people that killed my family... killed hers?

She didn't wake until the next morning. Everything seemed so bright to her.
