He waited until they both left the room before he jumped over the threshold of the window, landing on the cobbled ground which he hadn't touched for days.

Kai hung her head and walked back to her room. She lay on the bed and stared at the ceiling. There would be no sleep for her on this day.

(You have now!)

Gandal looked around, all clear for now. He crouch as he moved through the abandoned streets, clutching his pistol.

(What are you doing?)

Kai kept looking at the ceiling. She had a hunch that Aragon was going to come in so she wanted to be awake for it.

(Scouting the area)

'Some backup would be appreciated.' He said, sighing as he spotted a cluster of super soldiers huddled around a large petrol truck

Aragon walked into Kai's room. "So what's this whole hummingbird thing?" he asked, straining to try and sound nonchalant.

"Ugh... How did I know you were coming," she said as she rolled onto her side. "I told you already. There is no other way to explain it."

Araon felt less then welcome by her response to his presence. "Alright, alright I'll leave" he said, turning to leave.

"No, wait." She sighed. "Sorry. I don't want to sleep. The more I sleep the worse I feel. Can you stay with me? Please?"

Aragon turned. "Yeah ok. Sure" he said. He sat on the side of her bed. He thought of the first moment they got into this mess. That helicopter. Hr thought of that for a while. Then he turned to face Marluxia. "Are you ok?" he asked her.

The supersoldiers had heard something. Their mechanic heads turned towards the barrels Gandal was hiding behind. He shuddered, they looked so real but they weren't at the same time. He loaded his gun amd aimed, his finger wavering over the trigger.

"Not real..." she trailed off as she had another vision. She sat up quickly. "Where's Gandal?" She stood and began to run around looking with frantic eyes. Then she saw the open window. "Oh you fool." She grabbed the spare gun off the counter and jumped out the window. Which way did he go?

He pressed down, the bullet flying through the air and hitting the head of the cyborg. His target dropped to the ground amd its comrades turned to see Gandal.

Aragon stood up, grabbing his gun. "Wait!" he cried. He jumped put he window, landing next to Kai. "Come on. We need to find Gandal" he said, dusting himself off.

He aimed again, firing at the soldier which rapidly approached him until he ran out of ammo. 'Oh shhh...' A laser beam hit a nearby building, splinters flying through the air. A hand gripped his shoulder blade. The last thing he saw was a robotic leg kick him in the face.

Aragon heard lasers. He turned to Kai. "Come on, we gotta go" he said. He ran towards the point of danger and noise. "Blaze, what the hell did you think you're doing?" he asked himself quietly, spotting his unconscious body. "Get to cover" he told Kai. He pulled out his AK-47 and started shooting the robot over Gandal's body, then started shotting the oncoming swarm. He chucked his pistol to Kai. "Come on, we have to get out of here" he yelled at Kai over the sound of his bullets. "Grab Gandal and move, I'll cover you" he told her, reloading his gun.

Kai grabbed Gandal under the arms and began to drag him away. He's so heavy from muscle. How am I supposed to get him away safely? However, she kept dragging him away.

Aragon chucked her a gun. He ran over and took Gandals body over his shoulder. "Come on we gotta molve" he said again. He went behind a building and chucked Gandal through the window onto the bed. Then he lifted Kai, and pushed her through the window. He looked around to make sure no SuperSoldiers saw where they went. The coast being clear, he heaved himself through the window.

Kai fell to the floor. She was in pain and exhausted. She spread her arms out and lay on her back, shutting her eyes. "Gandal you fool," she muttered.

Aragon looked at her. "Are you ok?" he asked, helping her up. He looked at Gandal then back to Kai.
