"We should stay indoors for the rest of the day, that massive robot looks really dangerous." Gandal said in an authoritative tone.

"Okay. Will you sit with me? I'm not sleeping well," she said.

Gandal sighed then went over to her; pocketing his gun.

"Thank you. I've been having horrible visions."

"Of what?" He said, his angry mood dying down slowly. This tended to happen when he saw Kai; he didn't know why though.

"Supersoldiers. The three of us. Death. It hurts every time it happens. Every time I get shot in my dream, I feel it. For real. Then I wake and nothing is wrong, but the pain still lingers."

Gandal nodded, processing the information, "I think you've been traumatised." He said finally.

"Come on, lets get out of here" he said.

"We can't leave." Gandal said; the anger flaring back into his voice.

"If we lwave, he'll kill us. There is no doubt about that." She shook her head and looked at her feet.

"Unless..." He shook his head, dismissing the idea.

"What do you have in mind?" she asked.

"We could try sneaking around the bots." He said, stroking his beard, "After all; we need to find an outpost."

"You can't sneak past them if I am there with you. They always know where I am." She put her head in her arms.

Gandal sighed, moving to a nearby chair.

"Perhaps we should just rest," she said, not looking up.

"For how long though?" Gandal said, sighing.

"As long as it takes," she sighed.

Gandal nodded; after this; he shut up; his head dropping.

"What's wrong Gandal," Kai said standing and walking over to him.

"We are going to die one way or another; it's about time we started taking risks." He said quickly.

"Don't think like that. If you do, we are all going to feel the same."

"It's about time we started to fight back!" Gandal roared, shaking a fist.

Kai placed a gentle hand on his fist. She smiled softly and pushed his hand down softly. "Negative energy will push us all down. You need to stay calm and positive."

Gandal took out his pistol; loading it with fresh magazine. "A new day dawns. Now!" He said, "I was appointed for general for the mission; and this mission is not complete."
