"We aren't where we were. Friendships have been made, the government is more corrupt than ever and this is a tight situation. We don't need any more complications," Kai said.

"But we need to press forward!" His anger came to a climax as he banged his fist onto a nearby table.

"Don't be stupid" Aragon said.

Gandal stepped back; slumping onto the ground.

"What are you doing, fool?" ARagon asked.

Gandal looked up to him, "Nothing. We can't do a thing."

Kai sat beside him and slung an arm around his shoulders. "We may not be able to do anything, but we still have each other. That's what counts," she said, still a little shaken by Gandal's anger.

Gandal nodded, sighing reluctantly. After this; he said nothing for the next few hours.

Kai rested her head against the wall and closed her eyes. She had fallen asleep. She woke with her head resting on Gandal's shoulder. "What? Did I fall asleep again?" she mumbled.

"I'm afraid you did." He said slowly.

"Sorry," she said putting a hand to her head. I've just been so tired lately. All these visions are making me drowsy."

"That's what worries me" Aragon said gravely.

"We need someone to scout, any one willing to do so?" Gandal said.

"I'll do it" Aragon said, loading his gun up.

"Good, try and get as much info as possible, soldier." He said, clambering to his feet, saluting quickly.

"He is a fool. If it weren't for him we wouldn't be in this mess right now," she said, stumbling to her feet. She fell twice before she could stand with support.

Gandal sighed, "Let's not fight... Not now. Please."

"I can hold this one off for the rest of the day. Hopefully." She fell to the ground again, her head pounding. "I don't feel to good," she said swaying slightly.

Gandal rushed over to her, putting a hand to her forehead, "Are you alright?" He mumbled, his voice hoarse.

"No," she said. Never had she admitted to anyone when she was ill. But this time was different. She needed help.

"What's wrong?" He said hastily, kneeling so he was eye level with her.

"My head... hurts. Badly. It's affecting my vision and my... ability to speak." She swayed again and her body fell to the floor.

Gandal moved back; shocked. His field was not good with medical problems. He poked her nervously; noticing how childish he was being. He touched her head again; hot. Very hot. He slung her body over himself effortlessly, going up the stair case; heading for a room.

A new vision flashed through her mind. Vision after vision. It was like a marathon of really old sci-fi movies on her old TV set. It hurt so much. Her head felt lie it was going to explode.
