Kai caught him and set him down gently. "I didn't think you would remember," she said with a smile. She opened the panel on his neck and inserted a few wires. "I'm getting you back to normal." She shocked him slightly. "Sorry." She typed at her cracked computer. She watched as some of Gandal's features became more human. She grinned. "It's working."

"Brilliant" he said. He turned around. "Uhh, Kai, how long is that gonna take, and can you make it go faster?" he asked. An entire army of supersoldiers were coming their way.

'No...' He reached down to his leg, trying to fit it back to his body. 'Please.' The robotic voice turned menacing as he reconnected his leg and arm. He fired a laser at Kai and Aragon before smashing his arm through a nearby wall.

Kai managed to dodge the laser and grab her laptop. She kicked Gandal in the face. "Stay still." The process began to speed up. She could see a human face at least.

Gandal reached out for her, the laser going back into his fist. 'No...' His normal voice had returned now, 'If you turn me back into a human.... I will die.' His eyes began to close and his body slumped.

Aragon kicked him in his metal chest. "Stay down" he said. He fired off some lasers at the incoming army of supersoldiers. "You eityer speed that up, or we have to get out of here" Aragon said, firing off more lasers at the swarm of robots.

"I'm trying." She looked at Gandal. "I'm not going to let you die. I'm going to do everything I can to help you." She typed a little more and looked back to Gandal. She held his hand and kissed his forehead gingerly. "Just in-case I don't get to do that later," she said with a smile.

Gandal's eyes started to open back up to reveal the concerned face of Kai. He was still too scared to talk, instead, he looked at his hands to see skin. He sighed with relief.

"It's almost done. I need about ten more minutes or so. Maybe even less." She smiled down at him and held his hand. "I'm not going to let anything happen to you."

'It already happened.' He mumbled, his voice was parched and hoarse. He noticed how hungry anfd thirsty he was. Gandal moaned before falling unconscious again.

Kai sighed and kept holding his hand. He was right. She had tried but the fact was that she was able to help him. Her laptop was finding it hard to cope with all of the data that was coming through. She hoped it would last.

He could feel his body tingle, all those memories were returning. The Hitherlands. Aragon. The darkness. Supersoldiers. Training. The army. The floating facility. It was all coming back, everything.

"I cant hold them off much longer," said Aragon, now enveloped in the group of soldiers, doing hand to hand combat with the robots. "This needs to happen now" he said, punching a head off of a robot, and being kicked in the back by another.

Kai looked over to the computer. She had maybe two minutes left until Gandal was normal again. Her laptop was almost dead. Please work. Don't die on me. The transformation completed and she breathed a sigh of relief. She looked at Gandal. "This is going to hurt a lot," she said. She propped him up and placed her arm under his mouth. "If the pain is too much, bite my arm." She started to carefully extract the wires.

Aragon saw that the laptop was about to die. He stuck his finger into he charge port, gave it a shock, and gave it full battery. Then he dissapeared into the swarm of robots.

(Now we wait... *Twiddles thumbs*)

Gandal sighed with relief, smiling until she told him about.... Pain. He gritted his teeth and awaited the fate.

Kai started to delicately extract the wires from the back of Gandal's neck. She braced herself just in-case Gandal did as he was told and bit into her arm. Please stay alive.

Gandal closed his eyes. Relax. Just stay relaxed. Think of the light. Relax. The light. He thought as he winced at the pain which rushed through his body. RELAX! His head roared.

(Hahahahahahahahaha That's funny)

Kai stopped. "This last bit will hurt the most." She pulled out the last of the wire. As shedid, the hooked ends tore at Gandal's skin.

He tried not to wince and he accomplished, instead he cried out in pain, clenching his fists. I AM NOT GONNA FRICKIN' RELAX! His head roared and he bit at his lips, clenching his eyes closed.
