'Well...' Gandal said, applauding the two, he put on a posh accent, 'very good, very good!

He bit his lip, irritated that he didnt see that coming. Or that he distracted himself by asking questions. Then again he was always the weakest when it came to close combat.... and he did have a rather limited magic range and power, especially while fighting... but he couldn't use that magic....

"You going to join in yet?" she said standing up with a smile. She put her dagger away and extended a hand to Bluebird.

"thanks" muttered, taking her hand beofre making his way into a nearby tree. This would be interesting. Hopefully.

"Well Gandal. Are you willing to gamble slightly?" she said with a grin.

Gandal laughed, he splayed his his hand ,feeling around the air. Once he found a pocket in the slightly breeze, he pushed with his hand, sending Kai into a nearby tree. 'Woopsies.' Gandal laughed.

Kai laughed and grabbed a dagger. She held it in her hand and rwalked in a circle around Gandal. She stopped on his right and smiled. Her smile faded and she threw the dagger in an arc. It missed Gandal's head and hit a shadow claw. "Games over," she said seriously. "We need to keep moving."

Gandal laughed, 'about time.' He got up from the rock and continued down the track as if nothing had happened.

Kai rolled her eyes and retreaved her dagger. She cleaned it with a cloth and sheathed it. She grabbed her pack and walked with long purposeful strides.

'So...' Gandal mumbled, running his hands along the trunks of dead trees. A thick fog swirled around his feet as he trudged through the silent wastelands.

"So what?" she asked slowing down a little to match Gandal's strides.

'This is going to take a while.' He said, raising his voice as he pointed out the obvious.

"Catain Obvious strikes again!" Kai said cheerfully. "It's okay Gandal. We will get through this."

"It's only two days, right? Do you guys plan to pass any towns that we're going to stay at for the night? or are we going to have to camp it out?"

"Camping it out would be safer for the villagers. So we will camp."

'Oh fun!' Gandal said sarcastically.

"Oh don't be such a baby. It'll be fun."

Gandal scowled, finding a tree that would be easy to climb. He jumped branch to branch until he was on top of the tree. Wind rushed at his face and a chill hung in the air. He sprang onto the tree in front of him, the balls of his feet landing on a long twig. He balanced there for a moment, waiting for the others to catch up.

Kai followed but when she reached the second branch, she stopped. "Do you want some help Bluebird?" she called over her shoulder.

Gandal shook his head, moving from tree to tree.

"Huh no i got this" he said, taking his time while trying to leap from tree to tree, and saving himself from a death by falling by shooting out a few black chains that would then grab onto the missed branch for him. He really wasn't used to it, but hey, it works. Kinda.

Kai shrugged and kept going. She landed on a branch above Gandal and sat on it. She was satisfied it would hold her weight. "Any particular reason we're up here?"

'So we can move faster.' Gandal replied, picking up his speed, 'and so cwe have an improved peripheral vision.'

"In a tree? Who taught you that? All I can see now are more trees."

'You will understand later.' He sighed, he picked up his speed again, rushing through the air.
