Kai looked up and smiled. She finished putting the food in her pack and climbed the rock as well. She linked arms with Gandal and smiled again. "As am I," she said.

Gandal rolled his eyes, 'aren't you always?'

Kai laughed. "Of course I am. And if you're going to roll your eyes, just remember that the reason I am always ready is your fault."

"I was being sarcastic." Gandal laughed as he jumped from the rock onto the hard ground.

He grinned at the sight-- how cute, a successful couple, and made out of two capable people as well.
Nonetheless, there was more to do than to just flirt around so he started to walk towards the exit of the town, before asking the two if they were coming

'Yes, yes, I'm going.' He moved down the cobbled path, dismissing Kai in the nicest possible way - waiting for the others to follow.

Kai jumped down from the rock and landed in a crouched position. She stood and wakled toward Bluebird with a smile. "Two more days Bluebird. That's all we have to walk."

"sounds good to me. So, where are we going exactly?"

Gandal laughed, 'two days isn't long...'

"The walk is the longest part Gandal. It's a long way from here." She smiled softly and began to walk ahead of the group.

'Do you think we will encounter any... Monsters?' Gandal asked, attempting to catch up with Kai.

"we can defeat them. or perhaps ward them off with fire. They shouldn't be too much of a problem..." He caught up to Gandal, which was easy due to his light packing.

'Let's just hope we don't see one, okay?'

"They're not stupid. Fire won't scare them off. If anything it will only affect our performance." She walked a little slower so that she was the same pace as Gandal. "We have to work as a team. And we can't do that if we are at different levels of fitness and have different levels of skill."

Gandal nodded, understanding what she was saying, 'anyone else bored already?'

Kai laughed softly. "Yeah. I'm bored."

'What shall we do to pass the time?'

"How about sparring practice? It would be better if we could improve our skills"

Kai looked over her shoulder with a smile. "I agree. I like to spar new people." She dropped her pack on the ground. "Anyone ready?"

He pulled out his weapon, crystallising the tip of the short staff-like weapon with magic.
"ready."

Gandal took a step back, 'I will... Watch.' He mumbled, making sure he wasn't in the range of their swords.

Kai laughed. "I was hoping you would go first." She stood with no weapons.

Gandal sat on a nearby rock, wondering who would overpower who.

No weapons.... huh... must be a magic user then... or a barefisted fighter..
He stepped back, before summoning a bunch of tiny ice balls to surround him and charged, only to stray to the side and let the spheres clink against the girl as he extended the tip.
"Oh yeah, are we going to be doing this will dulled weapons, or are we going full out?"

Kai dodged and landed in a crouch position. "All out," she said before she lunged at him. She hit the trunk of a tree with her feet and jumped off into the sheild of ice. She missed Bluebird's sword by milimetres when she landed. She hit the side of his face with a palm strike and swept his feet out from under him. She grabbed a dagger from her leg and held it in front of his neck. "I guess this means I win then."
