He looked forward at her finger which was placed in the sand, watching it delicately trace through the dirt. Words began to form, followed by more, then a whole sentance.

'I sneak in and find out what they did with Arland, then, depending on the shape he's in, I get him out or distract the other's while you get him out.'

Martin smiled, "Brilliant." He muttered as the wind around them howled once again, making him shiver and his teeth chatter. He then came to his feet, wrapping his arms around his pale skin, "Shall we go?"

Alana beamed and stood, nodding and started to march towards the city, humming the 'we are men' song from Mulan.

He looked over to Alana, then down to her leg where the puncture was, letting out a half-hearted sigh. "You ruined it." He said in a glum voice as he moved.

Alana looked back at him then back down at her leg. She frowned softly and thought then she stopped and took his hand, placing it over the wound then humming a soft melody as the area beneath his hand glowed.

His hand began to burn, yet nothing touched his skin as the white light folded from the now concealed wound. He yanked his hand backward suddenly, "Alana, wha-" He stared at the wound which was now fully healed, replaced with somewhat red skin which looked to be irritated.

Alana smiled at him, her head tilted to the side in a questioning look.

Martin retracted backward, yet he kept his eyes on the area where the wound was. "How'd you do it?" He asked.

Alana looked down at the scar and shrugged, swinging her arms, ready to go.

He smiled a little, "I didn't know you could do that." Martin said as he continued, the harsh desert landscape forming into a little amount of grass and shrubs.

Alana smiled happily and continued to hum as they walked.

"Feeling hungry?" Martin asked as he ran a few metres ahead and sprung upward, grabbing two apples from the tree in synchronization. "This is where Arland and I would get our lunch." He said with a chuckle, throwing one of the apples in the air, directed toward Alana.

Alana smiled and the apple split into 6, evenly cut slices in the air then landed in her hands. She began to eat them.

He looked at his apple, then back to Alana's perfectly sliced food. "Er..." Martin held the apple forward, "Could you do that for me?" He asked, smiling.

Alana looked up at him and she giggled happily, slicing up Martin's apple.

He chuckled, eating the six, even pieces instantly.

Alana beamed, thinking it made him happy so she continued, she next sliced up a tree into six even pieces, causing it to fall in 6 directions.

Martin blinked, staring at the mild destruction at beauty, "Maybe you should keep to slicing apples." He chuckled as he continued forward, finishing off the last slice of the apple.

Alana looked confused as he said this but followed after him, humming as they walked.

"We should be at the city in... about an hour from here." He said, somewhat with joy. Martin took long strides, taking breaks after a few minutes to wait for Alana to catch up. After a while, the outline of the city came into view, the sun streaking orange rays across the desert.

Alana hummed as they walked, a bunch of random songs that turned into a mashup.

Martin hummed to her random singing, laughing whenever his humming to her songs failed when she changed her song.

Alana smiled happily and looked around as they walked.

Martin took one step forward as he paused, ceasing his movement before cautiously looking around.

A twig snapped.

His heart lurched against his ribcage. "Did..." Martin gulped, his eyes glued to Alana, "Did you hear that?"
