Alana looked down silently as she walked, the blood on her skin and clothes slowly drying and chaffing, but she barely noticed.

Martin looked upward to see massive ships passing above them, straight toward the wreckage of the citadel, not that he cared. He stared at them for a few seconds before his eyes returned to the path ahead.

Alana's eyes were dull.

Arland hesitated before looking back at Mark's body, before looking back toward the path littered with rubble and sighed, still unable to comprehend the death properly. Before he could take another step, something passed through his leg, making his nerves jump in his body. A muffled bang sounded through the air as he looked down to his leg to see a bullet in it, blood gushing from the wound.

Alana's eyes widened and she quickly turned around.

"Guys..." Arland fell to the ground as he moaned in pain, Martin turning in unison to see a man concealed in the shadows, holding a sniper up which he aimed at Alana.

Alana's eyes narrowed in fury. "YOU'RE NOT TAKING ANYONE ELSE FROM ME!" She shouted as the man was blasted back and his sniper turned to dust. The amount of brain power causing Alana's hair to blow back.

Martin dodged behind a sheet of metal as a laugh emanated from the crackling fire ahead. "So, you've discovered, haven't you?" A female voice said as the rubble around Alana was picked up and tossed toward her.

Alana's eyes widened in shock and she just barely had the time to stop the rubble from hitting her.

A woman finally revealed herself from the shadows, a cloak encapsulating her lower body as a hood hid her facial features. "Alana." She said, her voice bitter, "You really need to work on those reflexes."

Alana glared at her. "Who are you?"

"That doesn't matter, girl." She flicked her hand upward as she pushed the air forward, ramming it into Alana.

Alana crossed her arms over her chest and stood her ground. She glared at her. "Fine. If that's how you want it." She took a boulder nearby and flung it at her.

The woman let the boulder crunch into her, staggering sideways, letting the smile stay on her face. "Nice try." She sniggered as she picked Alana up, making her hover a metre from the ground. Before she could do anything else, Martin ran from the sheets of metal and charged at her, sending her into a pile of rubble.

Alana was dropped abruptly and she looked at the woman fearfully. "Martin! What are you doing!? Run!"

"No, we're in-" He was thrown back into a bundle of metal and groaned as he reached into his pockets and brought out a gun, scrambling to his feet as he ran toward the woman once again. She sniggered as she flicked him out of the way once again, returning her attention to Alana.

Alana's eyes narrowed into a glare and she flung the woman back into a tree and began to attack her with everything she could make a weapon out of.

She moved a invisible forcefield around her body as the rocks, rubble and debris pinged away from her. She laughed as she wiped away a trail of blood which was coming from her nose. "You're a good fighter."

Alana glared at her. "What do you want with me?"

"I want you..." She placed a hand on her lip as she picked up every boulder around her with the swipe of the hand. "I want you dead."

Alana glared at her but thought for a moment. "If I die... will you let the others go?"

"Why would I do that?" She giggled childishly as she placed a firm hand on her waist, keeping her other hand raised in the air to keep the boulders off the ground.

Alana glared at her then her eyes flicked to a piece of metal sticking in the ground and then flicked back up to her arm, the piece of metal flew out of the ground and sliced right through her arm, cutting it off.

She screamed fiercely as the boulders dropped to the ground, along with her stiff body which was shaking profusely from shock. "You bitch!" She screamed as the ground began to shake thoroughly before it began to crack. "Bitch. Bitch. Bitch." She repeated, her voice getting louder as he came back to her feet.

Alana didn't waste any time, she sent one of the fallen boulders flying at her head.
