"A bit." He said, "Do we have some music around here?"

"There's a stereo on the mantle piece. Make yourself at home." She went and had a shower.

Gandal popped in a CD he found on the ground and went back to the seat, humming to a tune.

"What's this?" she asked as she entered the room, drying her hair with a towel.

"A room?" He chuckled slightly.

Caitlin laughed. "The song silly."

"What about it?" He continued humming.

"What's it called? It sounds familiar." She looked at the stereo confused.

"I have no idea." He laughed.

Caitlin smiled. She figured that he knew a lot of stuff so that was a little bit of a surprise to hear.

Gandal sighed, stepping up as he hit the stop button on the player, "I'm off to bed, I'm as tired enough from running." He slinked down the corridor towards his room.

"See you in the morning then," she said falling into the lounge and shutting her eyes.

Gandal sighed as he entered his room, he flopped on his bed, putting his hands behind his head. He stared at the roof, a tear falling onto a nearby pillow.

Caitlin fell asleep quickly. She didn't dream tonight which was strange.

Gandal awoke suddenly, blinking before springing to his feet and heading for the kitchen; his moves sluggish and slow.

Caitlin stayed asleep. She wasn't ready to get up yet.

He opened the fridge, popping open a can of lemonade. He pressed the can to his lips; the lush liquid travelling into his body. He sighed, the taste so beautiful and refreshing.

Caitlin woke and walked into the kitchen, rubbing her eyes. "Good morning Gandal," she said with a yawn.

'Hey.' He mumbled, taking another gulp at the drink, 'how ya doing?'

"Eh? Yeah I'm fine. You? How did you sleep?" she said with a yawn.

'Alright. Same as always.' He nodded, placing the drink on a nearby counter. He smiled, 'So... Are we still going to attempt too find out who...' He paused, looking down at his shoes, 'Find out who killed my Grandmother?'

She stopped rubbing her eyes and stood straight. "Of course. I am a lady of my word. Never broken it, never intend to.

'When do we start?' He looked up from his shoes, a ghost of a smile flickering upon his pale face.

Caitlin smirked. "As soon as we're both ready." She grabbed a small carton of protein milk and drank it. "Give me ten minutes." She went off to get changed and emerged some time later.

He nodded, he couldn't wait to begin. Such eagerness had boiled inside Gandal. He didn't know why, but at the same time, he didn't care.
