"Uh..." He coughed several times, rubbing his throat, "Sorry." A slang american voice now appeared. He smiled, taking the other glass, sipping slowly at the cocktail. He put the platter on a nearby coffee table.

"It's okay," she put the cocktail down on the table. "I'm not very social so I really don't know what I'm talking about." She looked down and sighed.

"So, why were you with Sherlock?" Gandal asked, finishing off the last of the cocktail.

"He's my uncle. I feel like I can be myself around him." She looked up at him. "Why do you want to serve drinks anyway?"

"I need the money; my..." He couldn't finish the sentance.

"It's okay. You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." She put a hand on his shoulder.

Gandal shook his head, the smile returning. "So... wadda you wanna do?"

"I have to wait until the morning. That's when I get my flat."

"I shall depart now." His posh voice had returned. He winked at the girl as he placed the empty glass on the platter, moving down the small corridor and out of sight.

Caitlen smiled. She walked back to her Uncle and sat on his lounge.

Gandal's smiled dropped, "Well... that was kinda awkward." He mumbled to no one particular as he exited the large buidling. He adjusted his bow, the gravel beneath him crunching as he turned left, towards a small house.

Caitlen woke the next morning on her Uncle's armchair. She looked at the clock. Shoot, she had overslept. She was meant to meet Mrs Hudson two hours ago.

Gandal walked slowly up the gravel driveway of the Holme's house. He wore his tuxedo and the same black tie as yesterday. He cleared his throat several times before knocking on the door.

(Do you mean where I am staying?)

((I work as a butler to Holme's. I will meet you at his house.))

(Mycroft Holme's? Caitlen's dad?)

((I work as a butler at the house I was at the day before today))

Caitlen got up and walked to her new flat. She had gotten the keys from Mrs Hudson a mere ten minutes before. She put her bag on the floor and locked up. She caught a cab to her father's house. She didn't know what to expect really, but when she saw Gandal on her front lawn, she couldn't help but groan.

((LOL, why are you groaning?))

Gandal opened the front door to the house, entering gracefully.

(Didn't want to see you this early)

Caitlen got out of the cab and paid the driver. She shut the door and trudged to her house. She opened the door to the house and stormed inside. "I found a flat," she called.

Gandal turned, a stunned expression his face. He had another one of those platter, topped with cocktails once again. "Oh... cool." He said glumly.

She walked into the lounge and saw Gandal. "What are you doing here?" she hissed.

"Work." He scowled; he was in a bad mood.

"You work for my dad?" she asked curiously. She didn't remember him coming here.

"I am a butler, I work in many houses." He scowled once more, before moving into another room. He was in a real bad mood.
