Victor shook his head, "I've told you to do what they say." He said with a glum tone in his voice, "Why? Why, Alana? Why are you doing this?" He said, helping her to the couch, taking a seat next to her.

Alana looked over at him, her eyes empty and dead but there was a hint of sadness behind them. "I don't have a purpose anymore... so it doesn't matter what happens to me..."

"No!" Victor's voice rose unexpectedly, "You have a purpose here, Alana - you brought the humans and clones together, do you know how great that is? You're existence here is something great." He grabbed her hand and squeezed it.

Alana winced softly, a small bruise on the back of her hand. She looked away and out the window again. "My time here should be done... Just like the others..."

"Alana, no." Victor pushed her head so his eyes were staring into hers, "You still have much to do." He then looked back at the open door, "Come to my lab. Let me fix you up."

Alana looked back at him and didn't say anything, she only stood up, limping softly as she waited for him to lead the way.

Victor Clarence gave a smile, relief moving through him as he helped her up, bringing her to the door which he closed after them both. He slipped his card into the metallic slot before shuffling down the stairs with ease.

Alana was silent the whole way.

Victor finally reached the rather large flat which was located around several stores and a looming high rise. "Welcome." He said, clear glee in his voice. He moved up to the door, opening it with ease as he took a step back, allowing Alana to enter.

Alana slowly walked in and looked around, her eyes slightly curious.

"The place is a bit messy, the lab's in the back of the flat." He said hastily as he rushed inside, closing the door behind him as he picked up a newspaper, straightening the creases before placing it back on the table. "Welcome." He repeated, smiling as he ushered her into the kitchen which was located near the entrance.

Alana followed him and continued to look around, she also looked at him, confused by his pleasure in her being there.

He then brought her to a metallic seat which was by the kitchen bench. "Let me mend your wounds." He said as he scurried through a cupboard, bringing out an icepack, some antiseptic and a few bandaids.

Alana sat down and watched him as he brought the medical treatment over.

He opened the bottle of antispectic, applying it to her wounds and gashes. "Where does it hurt most?" Victor said, adjusting his glasses so he could see her injuries more clearly.

Alana gently put a hand on her stomach, where she'd been hit multiple times with the hilt of the gun.

"Okay." Victor gave a brief nod, passing her the ice pack slowly before bringing over the box of bandaids, pulling four of the strips out.

Alana winced as he put pressure on the icepack on her stomach but stayed still.

Once Victor was finished applying bandaids over the most predominant wounds, he brought the cloth and other equipment back to the cupboard before returning to her once again, "Any better?"

Alana looked down at her injuries, mainly the cuts were the only things that seemed better but she looked up at him and nodded.

"Good." He gave a smile, "Shall we introduce you to my lab? Chase should be back here soon for his apprentice shift. You and him will be great friends, I can see it." Victor's smile turned crooked as he dashed a hand through the air, moving over to a rack which was hanging three labcoats. He took two, placing one on himself, before holding the other in the air, awaiting Alana to take it.

Alana stared at it for a while then slowly took it, putting it on.

"Also, I have one of the serum for the defective clones I've been working on. See if you can help me improve it, eh?" He said, joy radiating from his current tone. Victor than moved off to a door which was behind the kitchen, sealed with the material you'd use to seal a fridge. "Welcome... to the lab." He said rather dramatically, opening up the sealed door to revealed a crisp, white room - lined with numerous chairs, stools, tables, bed and labcoats.

Alana watched him and followed him in, looking around with blank eyes.

Victor moved may colored flasks out of the way, to reveal a massive microscope which was zoomed in on a red liquid. "This is the blood of a defective clone." He pointed to the zoom of the microscope. "Take a look."
