OVERVIEW

I decided to make a fantasy themed roleplay, except I would like to make the one fun, but mature and serious. I would... prefer long posts here, at least with a fair bit of description. 
Before you begin rolepying here, please put the link to your rp sheet in your first post here or in your forum signature so people know who your person is, etc. So, preferably, use the name you have chosen on your rp sheet so users can refer to it without the confusion.

So, this is pretty straightforward, a mature rp, if it gets 'too mature' I will move this to unrestricted roleplays section and if I see a user making awkward contributations to this rp like - 'suddenly jacky popped out of the bush, he was going on a big adventure!'
 'Jacky scrambled to his feet, clasping the sword with two beefy hands, he wouldn't be defeated, not today - not ever. He swung sword viciously, the blade licking the air and narrowly missing the undead corspe which groaned in front of him. Jacky cursed, jumping quickly, avoiding the skeleton's flick of steel.
Jacky pounced, putting the sword deep into the corpse then ripping it out. A shrill scream shattered the air, and a pile of bones dropped to the ground. He didn't have time to celebrate, corpses started exploding from the ground, dozens of them.'

I think I have got the general bit out of the way.

STORYLINE

The world of Galadamish (Ga-la-da-mish) is being destroyed, bit by bit, town by town, city by city. A dark force has swept over the lands, no one knows where it can from or who summoned the evil. What people do know, though, is that Galadamish is on the brink of extinction.

The king has been assassinated and all hell has broken loose. Riots spread through the land, food is getting sparse and the amount of soldiers are dropping. 

Nearly the whole of Galadamish has been destroyed, except for the lands of Agash, a wealthy land guarded by the most superior of forces. Here, in the heart of Agash lies the story of a group of adventurers who's life's will change forever. The remaining survivors have been locked in the church, surrounded by knights and anyone (Over 30) willing to help defend the lands.

Here in a this church is a glimpse of hope... Some help... The darkness won't stop, it will just keep stabbing... And stabbing...

HOW THE ROLEPLAY WILL BEGIN

Hopefully you know everything about this rp now, I will make the first post below. If you have any questions or queries, send me a private message.

Gandal's eyes flickered open to reveal hundreds of people, chattering, sobbing, crying. He had no family, they were taken away by the monsters. Vicious things the monsters were, some of them were skeletons, some were - Gandal erased the though quickly, lifting him self to his feet. For the past five hours, he had been sleeping on the floor of the church.
He stretched two beefy arms, cracked his knuckles and pushed through the mob of people until he reached the front of the church. This part wasn't as full, luckily. In front of Gandal was a wooden altar and a large array of candles, flickering in the breeze, dancing in the wind. Gandal knelt, slapping his two hands together as he projected his thoughts.

God, hopefully you can save us from this outbreak, this plague. Please take care of my family. God help us...

Gandal rose to his feet, holding back a torrent of tears.

"God is trying his best. He can't save us all though," a young lady said from behind him. She was tall, for a sixteen year old. Her clothes were tattered, except for her hooded trench coat that ended just before the floor. Her collar length hair was a raven black and her eyes an emerald green. Her skin glowed a healthy cream colour. She wore a beautiful smile that showed her glistening white teeth. Her eyes however, looked sorrowful. She had lost much. A quiver hung from her back and a bow was slung from her torso. She had three daggers on her person. One concealed in her sock, one on her thigh and on on her back. "My name is Marluxia. What's yours?"

Just: a 15 year old elf, banished from her home, snuck into the church hoping to join the warriors going to fight to save the land. She went and stood in a dark corner of the church: hoping not to be noticed and thrown out. (sorry if you spelling's off my spell-check isn't working... how's that to short, not descriptive enough?)

Gandal slowly turned around, he didn't appreciate the interuption except he hadn't talked to a soul all day. The sun cast its rays through the window, making him squint. "And who exactly are you?" he said, trying his best not to be rude.

Well.... He thought.

"My name is Marluxia," she said. "I am a druid. I specialise in water elementals but I can modify other elements if I need to." The light was behind her as she stood. She saw that he was squinting so she knelt in front of him. She smiled again.

Gandal put out his hand (in a handshake manner), "I am Gandal." He said warmly, happy that he had finally found someone to associate with. "I don't like to talk about my life freely, but let's just say I have been on the run from the army."

Gandal smiled, he was happy that he had someone to talk to. Maybe someone could help him escape... just maybe.

Marluxia took his hand and shook it and beamed. She had been stuck here for way too long without someone nice enough to talk to. "Nice to meet you Gandal. Just for the record, I don't really have a life. And, only if you want me to, I can help you get out of here. I hate the idea of being cooped up in this place. It makes me feel sick." She looked around. "I cam distract, emobilse or even kill the soldiers for you if need be."

Gandal smiled slyly, "Be quiet about it," He said, taking his hand from Marluxia. "I am telepathic, and I have been all my life, my family is dead and I have been on the run from the soldiers for a long time now." Gandal paused, his eyes watered, and he slowed to a soft whisper, "If we can escape, we can go to my place, I have stacks of resources that would be able to help us survive for years..."

She whispered back, "Sure. I have weapons and stuff at my place also so we can go there next. When do we leave?" She wanted to tell him about her life, but she knew that that would comprimise her and she didn't want to reveal herself fully just yet. She need to trust this man more first.

"I need to rest for now..." Gandal said, stepping away. "I will talk later." He stepped out of Marluxia's view and into a row of bookshelves. This Marluxia person... She might be able to help me with my quest...

Marluxia watched as Gandal moved away. I don't know what is going to happen, but I do know that in order to get out of here alive, we are going to need to trust each other. And she had a yearning to trust and be trusted by this Gandal that she  had never felt before.

Gandal could feel Marluxia's thoughts projecting into his head like daggers stabbing into his conscience. Even though he was away from her. Gandal saw the place he had rested before and layed down. His head throbbed and sleep filled his head. His eyes closed slowly and he drifted into a slumber.

Marluxia shook him awake the next morning, telling him to wake up. "Come on sleepy head. Things are getting ugly." Around her, soldiers were waking people from their slumber and moving them outside. She didn't know what was going on. She was a little shaken by what was going on.

Gandal's eyes flickered open like the wings of a butterfly. "Huh..." He said sleepily, getting upright. Around him soldiers carried people to and fro. "Damn..." He muttered, looking up at Marluxia. "Are we ready to leave?" A flower of hope sprung to life inside Gandal.

"I am. I don't know about you. But I really want to go now." She looked around again. "I was exploring the church when I first got here, there is a tunnel under the curch that leads to a forest outside. We can leave through there. You ready?"

Gandal nodded. He got up, he had nothing to bring with him except for himself and his new associate. "Let's move." He said, secrecy in his voice. His voice also held a sense of being frightened. As a matter of fact, Gandal was firghtened, he had never tried a stunt like this before - ever. He tried wiping the though from his head, but he couldn't. Sweat drenched his palms and nervousness filled his head.

Just was still hiding in the shadows when she saw two people:a man and woman, standing together talking. She mover closer and heard something about a tunnel leading to the forest outside. Making a snap decision Just decided to follow them.

Gandal followed Marluxia to a far corner of the church, they moved stealthily into the shadows. In front of them was a long, wide tunnel, protected by a metal grid. Gandal crouched low, his eyes flashed and the grid fell into his hands.

wow! I wish I could do that. Just thought as she crouched in the darkness not far from where Gandal and Marluxia stood. she took a small step forward and  one of the floor-boards creaked she hastily retreated further into the shadows, praying to all the gods she knew of that she wouldn't be spotted.

As he was silently walked on a village roof, viewing two strangers hiding in the shadows, he ran and jumped next to the window next to the strangers without a solitary sound.

Gandal looked around suspiciously... Hmm... Gandal and Marluxia traveled through the narrow tunnel quietly and stealthily.
The pipe echoed their footsteps and a the very end was a dim, flickering light.
Gandal,s hands slipped on the metal and a patch of sweat covered his brow.

Just followed Gandal and Marluxia through the tunnel keeping a fair distance from the two and matching her footsteps to Marluxia's.
As soon as we get out of this tunnel and into the forest I'll climb a tree and stay there until they make camp. She thought.

Marluxia and gandal reached the end of the pipe. They sighed with relief as they stepped into the moonlight.
Suddenly a growl filled the air, piercing the silence and a skeleton appeared from the shadows. 'Help!' Gandal shouted, stepping back.

Just stepped out of the pipe but stayed near the entrance. As she was the skeleton she mentally sighed.
here goes my cover. She thought as she through on of her knives at the skeleton's head: hitting it square in the forehead.
Stepping from the shadows she said, "Hello, my name is Just. oh and please don't kill me"

Gandal made a grim smile, 'thank you...' He said uneasily, thinking about how lucky he just was. He sighed with relief again.
'I am, gandal' He said, 'and my company is Marluxia.' He had sweat covering his whole body, not from heat, but fear.
