«Prologue»
It has been 7 centuries since the catastrophic event that nearly exterminated all life on Cornelia, the Rupture. Cornelia split into 5 parts with floating islands floating in between each other all rotating around the «Orb of Satan». The humans did not recover as quickly from this event and so almost half of the human population was wiped out from what came next. Humongous creatures of varying shapes and sizes. These great beings were called Demons by the humans. After 3 centuries of survival humanity had re-established itself with the threats of Demons very much downgraded since they became docile once humans released it was them who were angering them. Since the demons became submissive a guild was created the Demon Hunters who were a set group of elite hunters who could terminate any threat of Demons at a moments notice, terminating the threat could be calming it or killing it, all up to the hunter.

«Present Day & You»
The Five major isles have become inhabited by humans and at the center of every isle are the great cities who are controlled by the isles government. Sky Pirates, pirates who ride in air ships, have taken the smaller islands that float around the «Orb of Satan» (Some can be the size of Sydney whilst others smaller than a house.) and have started basing there. Though a threat looms ever so closer the Demon have become angry and ferocious again and the Demon Hunters have never become so needed in time. You are a demon hunter and together we will help stop the threat that is causing Demons to become angry. The demons have destroyed whole villages.

«Setting»
The World before the Rupture was medieval (along with futuristic technologies like Airhsips and whatnot) Alot of information never survived the rupture and Cornelia was devastated. Demons have been caused by the «Orb of Satan». I will let everyone know what is causing the Demons to become ferocious when we reach a certain point. This is not completely non-linear there is a plot and it will be revealed as time goes by.

«「Demon Hunters」»
The guild was established to prevent the threat of Demons becoming harmful to humans (look how well that turned out.) There base of operations is a massive floating fortress or an Airship that is attached to a floating island called Karnak.

«Terms»
Orb of Satan: The blue sphere that the isles rotate around it can be seen if you lean over the edge of an isle. Falling off would definitely kill you.
Cornelia: The World before the rupture.
Demons: Gargantuan beasts that roam the land, how they look varys some look like animals and others like those from myths of the ancients.
Hunters: People who are apart of the Demon Hunters Guild, the terminate any threat that Demons may pose to humans.
Isle: Large floating islands that rotate around the Orb of Satan. They can have large oceans in them, Mountains and even volcanoes but for some reason water never runs out even when the ocean meets the edge.
Islands: the much smaller counterparts of Isle's.

Personality: Touya is a quiet person who only co-operates when he is on a mission other than that he will be out doing his own things keeping to himself and anyone who tries to talk to him is normally ignored. When on missions he takes no risks when attacking Demons and will kill them without hesitation.
History: Touya has been trained all his life to become a Demon Hunter, his father being one of the strongest members of the guild made sure that his son was given the best training in the world. Fast forward until he was 18 he took the entrance exam and passed with flying colors.

Thanks, this is like one of those once in a blue moon imaginitive ideas that I came up with. I based the creatures off the game Dark Souls (and godzilla) and the idea of the RP is near death so the Demons are extremely OP but with *cough* teamwork *cough* and friendship you can defeat them. I also have just started reading Sword Art Online the original light novel and the whole different world aspect kind of helped push me through.

Yeah definitely. I normally RP on Pokecommunity it is more advanced since most of the regulars have been doing it for a long time and the bar gets set. I am thinking of a Sword Art Online RP and maybe a Monster Hunter one.

Personality:She is noramlly a quiet person with a strong opinion. She is stubborn and sometimes wild with rage. She dislikes many people and trusts no-one. When on missions, she prefers to convince Demons to stop but will not hesitate to kill them if she must.
History:Her parents died when she was very young. She lived with a good family but never felt like she was supposed to be there. The first time she saw a Demon Hunter was when she was nine. She aspired to become one at ten. She took the enterance exam at eighteen and passed with great praise. She climbed the ladder of authority quickly in one year and almost went freelance when her foster family were killed.

Just posted in IC, the creature has 3000 HP and can move fast also @Anorak, some demons have ribs sticking out of them but most of these creatures as hideous as they are have many traits of animals hence the cobra like demon. Any Ideas for future demons we could fight?

Could we incorporate 'Lucifer' the mind controlling demon?

Appearance: Has long blonde hair that she ties back in a high ponytail. Is somewhat short.

Weapon of Choice: A double-edged scythe.
Personality: She's an introvert, and prefers not being in large crowds. She has a tendency to talk to herself and is actually easily convinced. She dislikes people dying. Demons, however, are another story.
She prefers to work with others, although she mostly ends up carrying potions and other resources as her skills... arent exactly awesome.
History: She lived with her parents until she was around 15, which was when she moved to learn how to fight. She started to live with her friend Max, and had learned how to cook and do menial chores while living at his house. 3 years later, she passes the test, but still crashes at his place from time to time.
