Kai stood just as Gandal appeared. "Gandal!" She threw her arms around him, tears welling in her eyes. "I thought I'd lost you."

'Me too.' Gandal said, gulping as he wrapped his carms around before grinning. 'We did it. That darkness is no more!' They were free of the insane evil. For now.

Marluxia pulled away and looked at him. "Can we go back now. I don't want to live in my past."

'As you wish.' They went back to the newly founded future, landing on top of the castle of Galadamish. 'Welcome back.' Gandal said.

Marluxia smiled and looked around. The streets were buzzing with activity and happiness was plentiful. Marluxia frowned. Something wasn't right.

'It's beatiful. Luxury.' He rolled h head back, letting the sun touch his skin. 'The light beckons. No longer the darkness.' Gandal added in a soft mutter.

Marluxia shook her head. She was worrying over nothing. She looked at Gandal and giggled. "You can be so much like a child when you want to be."

I shall see you later. He projected the thought into her head as he teleported away, that mischievous grin returning once again.

Marluxia blinked and sat on the roof she stood on. It looked nice now. But she still had memories of that terrible war.

Gandal dropped at the cemetery, searching for that grave. He kept looking, searching every grave stone until he found it, hiding in the shadows of a dead tree. Inscribed into the stone were the words, 'Gandal Alan. Killed brutally.'

(Huh? Is that you or something?)

(Mwahaha, yep)

(Evil mother stole Gandal's body! O.O )

Marluxia looked out towards the village and smiled. This was her home. She wanted to stay, but she couldn't. She would go out to the woods and stay with the elements.

He dropped to his knees at the grave, 'No. Please. No!' Gandal's words were loud and possessive. Tears began to stream from his eyes as he ripped at the dirt. 'I don't want to die!'

Marluxia flinched. Something was wrong. She could have sworn she heard Gandal cry out. She looked around but saw no sign of him.

'Please!' He repeated, his tears falling onto the fresh dirt that had been turned over. 'I have Marluxia... I can't leave her...' He cried in between distressed sobs.

She stood and turned. "Gandal?!" she called. She thought she had heard him again. She felt distressed.

He gave up on clawing at the dirt as he heard the voice of Marluxia. 'She can't see me die...' He murmered.

Marluxia jumped down from the roof and landed on the ground softly. "Gandal where are you?!" she called again.

He tried focusing on teleporting but he couldn't. He didn't belong here, this wasn't his reality.

Marluxia looked around frantically. She started running toward the cemetery. She used to like it there. She ran as fast as she possibly could. I have to find him.

He slumped to the ground, sighing as the kept running down his face.

She kept running until she reached the cemetery. She stopped to hunch over and pant. She hadn't had to run that fast for ages. She straightened and found Gandal by a tree. She walked up behind him and read the headstone. She sighed. "If the war never came Gandal. Then we haven't met. I'm probably still being the druid princess and you, well. This speaks for itself. We won't meet in this reality." She hadn't thought of that until now.
