Abrubtly a light lit up the air, a crimson crossed with a light blue. The beam of light dissapeared seconds after. 'What the...' Gandal mumbled, touching the hilt of his dagger.

(That's cool. )

Marluxia had to blink a few times before she could see again. "I don't know."

Gandal came to his feet, 'you wait here.' He said warmly as he slipped out his dagger, moving towards where the light would've struck.

Marluxia stood and grabbed her bow. "Not in a million years. I'm coming too." She held an arrow in her hand and cocked it in her bow, not pulling it so it could be loosed.

Gandal nodded, the more people the better. In the distance crimson colored lights flickered, surrounded by feint blue outlines.

Marluxia stared at it bedazzled. "What...?"

'Dragon.' Gandal muttered, taking out his sword; slashing through vthe cold air as he neared the lights.

"But... How can a dragon be so... bright?" She didn't know what else to say.

'This is a different type of dragon -- kinda like a meteor?' He wasn't sure how to describe it. He had never fought these creatures... But the rumours...

"Okay." She pulled her arrow and let it loose. It hit the dragon square between the eyes but didn't hurt it. "What the?"

'Oh god...' Gandal yelped, slightly turning.

"You are not runnign away from me," Marluxia said sternly.

'I think it's best... We do.' Gandal said, a loud roar rupturing the silence.

Marluxia jumped. "I agree. I'll race you. Go!"

Gandal laughed sarcastically as he sheathed his sword, running back to the camp site. Balls of fire ran from the dragon as they sprinted, lighting up the darkness.

"This is not funny."

Gandal dropped the laugh and yelped, 'that better?'

"No. Just shut up for a bit would you?" She ran faster. "Wait. Why are we running?" She lifted her hands slightly and the two began to float. "This is much faster transport." They flew through the air with great spead away from the dragon.

'So you can fly?' Gandal asked.

"Of course not silly. I'm an elemental druid. I alter the elements to my favour. This is just one way of doing it." She rested the two on the ground.

Gandal shook his head, 'we better move.' He said, walking forward briskly.

She nodded and followed. "So... have you ever met a druid before?" she asked, trying to make conversation.

'No.' He said quickly, not wanting conversation.

"Oh. Well, lucky you. Not many people meet druids. It's a rarity." She looked at her feet as she walked. "So... what do we do now?"

Before Gandal could reply, blue fire exploded in front of them, another piercing roar filling the silence.
