Lexi sighed.

Not long later, the food was ready. Robin handed everyone a bowl of food.

"Thanks" Ali said.

Lexi nodded in agreement and began eating.

Ali began eating hungrily, once he was finished he stood up, "I'ma go to bed guys" he said "night"

"Night" Robin said

Lexi nodded. "I'm gonna stay up for a while longer."

"Okay" he said walking back to where the beds where.

Lexi sighed and sat down.

Ali lay down in the bed, and looked out the window.

"So Lexi, why do you think the humans would want to come to the forest?

"To get rid of us. The law says we're dangerous..."

Ali could hear the two talking, and was listening.

"Dangerous, how?" Robin said.

Lexi sighed. "I heard the scientists talking to a government agent the night I escaped. Apparently, as experiments, we're far more powerful than any humans. Thus we are viewed as a threat to them, and need to be eliminated."

Ali lay there restlessly looking at the roof, I can't let anything happen to Lexi , he thought to himself.

Robin nodded, "I see" she said.

Lexi nodded and sighed. "I'm gonna go for a quick run. I'll be right back."

Ali was asleep before she left.

"Okay, I'll be here" Robin said.

Lexi nodded and climbed a little ways down the tree before jumping from tree to tree quickly, away into the night.

Robin nodded and looked over the trees, thinking about life before the experiments.

Lexi was out all night.

Ali woke up the next morning to find robin asleep near the campfire, "Robin?" he said.

Robin woke up, "It's morning already is it, is Lexi asleep then?"

"No she's not here" he said concerned.

Lexi was still away. (I want to keep where she is hidden)

(Okay)"I'm sure she'll be back" he said, "she's a natural at navigation and she's extremely athletic"

Robin nodded, "If she isn't back in a few hours, the I'll get worried" She said.

"Do you want breakfast?" he asked, going and grabbing a rabbit, and beginning to prepare it to cook.

"Yes, thanks" she said

"You're welcome" he said cooking it.

Lexi was away for many hours, there was no sign of her.

Robin began to get worried, "I'm going to fly around, and see if I can find her" she said

"Okay," Ali said worried.

Lexi was nowhere to be seen when Robin searched for her.

Robin returned a few hours later. "I couldn't find her" she said concerned

Ali looked at her surprised, "I hope nothing has happened" he said

A few hours later Lexi came crawling up the tree and back into the house, looking very tired and smelling of humans.
