Ali saw Lexi running through the trees at a quickened pace, "What is it" he said

Lexi dropped down next to him. "Th-Th-There's humans in the forest!"

"Oh no, we have to go somewhere safe... but where?"

Lexi thought a moment. "I don't know. But I think I know someone who does, come on." She said, jumping into the trees.

Ali looked up, then ran underneath where she was but on the the ground.

Lexi led them far away. "It's going to take a couple days travel to get there. She lives deep in the forest."

"I see..." he continued following her.

Lexi led them a ways then stopped for a break.

Ali caught up and sat down on the ground against a tree.

Lexi came down from the tree and sat beside him with a sigh.

"We should sleep when we get far enough away, we need to rest, but I don't know if we can"

Lexi nodded. "We'll start going again in a little bit then we can sleep at our next stop."

"Ok" he said and kissed her lightly on the cheek.

Lexi blushed softly and smiled.

Ali smiled back, "we should probably get going soon" he said

Lexi nodded and kissed his cheek softly before standing and going into the trees.

Ali watched where she was going, then followed below.

Lexi led him for a while longer then stopped and dropped to the ground. "We should be fine here to sleep for a few hours."

"Ok" he said, he then lay down and gestured for her to join him.

Lexi blushed softly and smiled laying down beside him.

Ali put his arm around her, and fell asleep.

Lexi smiled and fell asleep as well.

Ali woke up to the daylight and woke Lexi up, "I guess we need to get moving soon then" he said

Lexi groaned and snuggled into him.

Ali smiled and snuggled her.
