Ali giggled a bit and smiled at her, then finished his fish. He then lay down on a pile of leaves "Do you like being like this?"

Lexi looked up at him after having finished the fish. "Being like what?"

"Like... part animal"

"Ah..." Lexi said as she leaned back on her hands and looked up at the sky in thought as she remembered the past. "I suppose I'm better off now than I used to be... And being part cat has given me some abilities I never had before..."

Ali smiled, 'I guess that goes for me as well" He looked at her then sighed. "I guess you'll be leaving now" he said slowly.

Lexi shrugged her shoulders and slowly stood up. "I suppose so." She said and looked down at him, holding out her hand for him to shake.

Ali shook her hand, he looked into her eyes for a moment, then blinked "well, nice to meet you" he said.

Lexi nodded slowly, looking a little reluctant. "You as well." She said then turned and jumped up into the tree above him.

Ali put the fire out, and went to sleep.

Lexi left and went back to her camp...


It was around 2 in the morning when Lexi heard a rustling in the bushes around her camp sight which woke her up. She shot up from her leafy bed and saw three figures emerging from the bushes, approaching her. They were all experiments. One a snake, one a fox, and the third, whom seemed to be the leader, a bear. They had already surrounded her while she'd been asleep and she was trapped, they growled at her and she knew she'd have to fight.

Ali awoke to the noises of a fight, then he recognized a voice, it was Lexi. He looked around and smelt the air. He could smell a reptile and a fox or a wolf, he wasn't sure, he followed the sent to Lexi's camp. He ran out from the bush and tackled the fox.

"YOU WANNA FIGHT!? HUH!? I'LL TAKE YOU OUT YOGI!" Lexi shouted as she scratched the part bear across the face and lept back before his giant clawed hand could rake across her.

Ali punched the fox and turned back to see Lexi get scratched, he then ran up and jumped on the bear and bit it, "Are you alright" Ali said concerned.

Lexi grunted as she was scratched and nodded, holding her wound. "I'm fine." She growled and saw the snake reeling up behind him. "Stay on your toes!" She shouted and knocked him out of the way before biting the snake experiment's neck.

Ali looked back, "thanks" he yelled before running up and punching the bear in the nose.

They fought for a good part of the night before the bear and fox retreated, the snake didn't make it that far. Lexi was panting and wiped blood off her cheek. "Thanks for the help." She said as she started to check her wounds.

Ali groaned, "That's fine he said, I hope you're okay. He turned around to leave then realised he had no idea where he was. He turned around and walked up to Lexi.

Lexi looked up from licking a wound on her arm and asked. "Are you ok? You're not hurt are you?"

Ali checked himself over quickly, "no,,,not badly, but I am lost." He said, "I've never really been verry far away from my camp.

Lexi nodded. "Sure. Here, you can stay here tonight and I'll lead you back in the morning." She walked over to the snake's body and grabbed it's tail. "I'll just get this out of the way." She said beginning to drag it out of the camp.

"Here I'll do that, you're injured" He said.

Lexi looked up at him surprised. "You sure?"

Ali smiled, "Yeah" he said as he took it off her and started to drag the body away. He returned after a few minutes.

Lexi watched after him then returned to licking her wounds. She looked up when he returned the groaned. "Oh great..." She muttered as she clutched a bite wound from the snake.

"Was the snake poisonous?" He asked concerned as he knelt down next to her.
