The three little fillies lead Thunder in amongst the townspeople and the streets of what they referred to as 'Ponyville'. They stop in front of a door that had been built into a tree, a tree that went up high and had many a balcony on its peak.

"Where is the princess?" Lighting sat upon the bed as a nurse attended to her wing, flinching once her hoof touched the wing.

"Princess Celestia is going to Ponyville to speak to Twilight Sparkle as we speak." The guard sighed.

Sweetie Belle knocked on the door and everybody waited. It appeared no-one was at home.

Princess Celestia walked to the 3 fillies, "Have you three see- Thunder?? What are you doing here?"

"Hello."

"Lightning Chaser's been looking all over for you."

"Where is she?"

"I just got the news that she just got to the castle infirmary."

"Why was she in the infirmary!?"

"She got attacked by timberwolves and her wing is destroyed."

"Oh wo- when can I go back?"

"I suggest right now, she's been worried about you."

"Oh okay," Thunder turned back the three fillies who've must've been surprised at how quickly the conflict was resolved, "See you later, CMC."
"Bye, Mr. Guard guy," they waved back.

Lightning Chaser looked at the nurse, "Is my wing going to be okay?"

The pony looked down and shook her head.

Lightning nodded, "just do what you have to do."

The nurse gave Lightning anesthesia and Lightning fell asleep.

Thunder travelled to Canterlot.

The ponies rushed as they got rid of Lighting's destroyed wing. She had the dream again, her mother's image disappearing before her reach. Next this time was Thunder, almost the same as her mother. Only the colour of the mane and coat shown. Once she lost his hallucination out of the reach she woke up, "Mom? Thunder?" She looked around, realizing it was only a dream and that the surgery was over.

"Thunder's not here, sweetie." The nurse looked at her

Lightning sighed and cover her face with a hoof, "I know.."

Thunder rushed into the infirmary, "Lightning Chaser!?"

Once she heard her comrades voice, she looked up and saw Thunder, "T-Thunder?!? Thank Celestia you're okay!!"

She looked normal even though there was bandages wrapped on her back and covering most of her hooves.

"Are you okay? Why are you in the infirmary?"

"I was looking for you and well..." She looked at where her wing was, "got attacked and lost my wing right now"

"Not one of your beautiful wings!" Thunder spouted, distraught and looking at where Lightning Chaser's wing was supposed to be.

" you thought my wings were beautiful??" She looked at her remaining wing, moving it a little to confirm it was there and not another hallucination.

"The best wings in Canterlot," Thunder boasted.

She smiled and looked at the nurse, "do you mind fetching Flame Twister? He might help me with a prosthetic wing..."

the nurse nodded and left the room

"Will you be able to fly again?"
