Jack felt relieved. He hugged Clary back but he didn't know what would follow, he never had actually made it past the step of telling anyone that he had a crush on them.

Clary looked at him "so....what happens now?" She asked smiling

Jack stammered "I honestly have no idea... I never really thought that far ahead. I just expected to tell you and then try to follow up from that... Maybe we should go..." His voice trailed off. Not even he knew what he was saying. He was that nervous.

"Go out..?" She smiled

Jack smiled back "Yeah that" he said feeling stupid as he said it but he didn't care.

"So...should we?" She smiled

Jack looked at Clary with seriousness in his expression "Yes, I would very much like that" he said with a smile.

"Me too" she smiled and held his hand

He smiled back as she grabbed his hand and he grabbed hers "I don't think I have ever let someone in this closely in such little time" He said with honesty

"Me neither" clary said nodding "I never really let anyone this close..." She said honestly

Jack smiled at her "Thanks for letting me the first person then"

She smiled "thankyou for being the first person" clary rested her head on his shoulder

Jack smiled and thought to himself: In so little time I let someone in this close to me, I can't believe this is really happening. And then a thought crossed his mind. He had to tell his family about this.

Clary smiled and looked at him "do you wanna me my brother?" She asked

Jack smiled back "Yeah alright, I expect him to hate me at first right?" Jack joked

"Haha no he's too little to hate" she laughed and walked with him so her house

Jack walked with Clary to her house, he felt calm but a hint of nervousness. He was glad Clary felt the same way he felt.

Clary let herself in through the door and her little brother ran to her, she picked him up and swung him around

Jack followed through and watch Clary swing her brother around, he laughed to himself at the sight

Clary looked at her brother "this is jack my....boyfriend?" She said to him

Jack looked at Clary's little brother "That's right I am Clary's boyfriend" He said with a smile.

Her brother poked his tongue out at Jack and Clar laughed "don't be rude George" clary chuckled

Jack mocked shock "Well I never!" He said in an overly dramatic accent before succumbing to laughter himself.

Meanwhile Pero had taken all of her medication at once in the hospital. The doctors couldn't save her.

Clary laughed at Jack and put George down on the floor "shall we make you some lunch Georgy?" she asked as he nodded then turned to Jack, "you wanna stay for lunch?" she asked smiling
