Jack had been watching and listening to this back and forth the whole time, not really knowing what to say or when to interject. He felt kind of awkward to see this exchange. He wasn't used to things like this.

Jack squeezed back mouthing "Later when we are alone can I tell you something?" He asked

"Of course" she mouthed back smiling

Jack smiled back feeling his heart accelerate. He wasn't even close to telling her yet why was he scared now?

Clary looked at Pero sleeping "ummm" he said to Jack

Jack looked at Pero and then again at Clary "I think we should leave her" he whispered

"Me too" clary whispered back and giggled

Jack slowly opened up the door and let Clary out first while laughing quietly.

Clary giggled and went out with jack following behind her "so" she said "what did you want to tell me?" She smiled

Jack smiled back "I uhh wanted to tell you that I uhh" Jack went red and started looking around and eventually looked down. This was a bad idea he thought to himself
