"I'm sorry I'm getting blood on you..." Clary said quietly still hugging him

The medics came and placed Pero on a stretcher, rushing her out to the ambulance.

"I'm sorry I'm getting blood on you..." Clary said quietly still hugging him.

Jack still hugging Clary said "I don't mind"

She nodded and sighed heavily "I don't want her to die..." She whispered

Pero was driven off to the hospital.

Jack hugged Clary tighter "Yeah... I hope she will live..." He said quietly

Clary felt a year slip down her cheek

It was two days later and Pero was laying in her hospital bed, she'd gotten out of intensive care the day before and was now just staring at the ceiling, her neck stitched and heavily bandaged.

It had been two days since Jack last heard from Clary, she said she wanted him to go visit her friends grave with her. He messaged her asking: "Hey are we going to your friends grave today?" He didn't feel comfortable using the word but did it anyway

Clary jumped at the text message, she was curled up on the sofa staring at the wall, she hadn't bothered to take her "happy pills" today, as she like to call them, they were actually anti- depressants. She replied to jack "yeah, I'll meet you at the school gates in half an hour?"

Jack checked the time he didn't know why he did though, his weekends generally didn't include much
"Alright do I need to bring anything?" he replied back

Pero stared at the wall silently, her eyes dead, she couldn't make any noise, she couldn't even sigh. But once she was well enough to leave the hospital, they were probably gonna lock her up again.

"Nope, just probably a warm jacket, see ya there" clary sent a smiley face on the end even though she felt the exact opposite, she went up stairs, popped the "happy pills" and held them in her hand staring at them, then she flushed them down the toilet, and ran downstairs grabbing her shoes and iPod before leaving the house thinkin of Pero

Jack grabbed his hoodie, he couldn't wear the clothes from friday since they were covered in blood, he had trouble explaining what happened to his family about that, as he went to walk out the front door he saw his brother "Sup, you're in a rush on the weekend. Who is the girl" Jack sighed
"Alright you got me, I am doing something for a girl" Jack said before opening the door and walking out "Later bro" his older brother called out to him as he walked away, Jack chuckled slightly at his older brother.

Clary got to the gates early, she hadn't realised she had walked so quickly, she didn't see Jack yet so she kept her iPod playing and say down on the bench, staring at nothing in particular

As Jack began his walk to the school gates he began to wonder what it was about Clary that caused him to find her to be more interesting than the others, as he approached the school gates he saw her sitting down staring into space.

Clary didn't notice Jack conning and was still staring, she had a bunch of flowers in one hand that was lightly holding them so that they were facing the floor

Jack saw Clary still staring into space, he didn't want to startle her and he noticed flowers in her hand "Damn it, I feel like I should have bought something along" he muttered to himself. He approached Clary slowly.

She jumped and shrieked when she jack, taking out we headphones she said "oh god you scared me" and stood up

Jack chuckled slightly "Sorry that is what I was trying not to do!" he said while laughing.

She have him a weak smile "it's okay, shall we go?" She said looking at him but not directly in his eyes

Jack smiled back and looked back at her into her eyes "Sure he said let us go"

She looked into his eyes for a second and then looked away "yeah.." She said. When they got there She dropped to her knees at her friends grave "rose..." She said, her voice cracked and she cried silently

As they reached the grave he saw Clary drop down to her knees and begin shaking slightly as if she were crying. Not knowing he should intrude he kneeled down next to Clary not saying anything but letting her know that he was there.
