She cried and spoke to her friend "I'm so sorry, I miss you and I wish you were here, I..I'm so sorry, you wouldn't be dead now if it wasn't for me...you'd be alive..and happy..." Her voice cracked again, seeing Jack out of the corner of her eyes comforted her

Jack didn't say anything, this was a moment for Clary and her departed friend, he watched her movements though. He felt out of place but honored that Clary let him come to this.

Clary gripped Jacks hand and went quiet "I miss you a lot Rose..." She said to the grave stone "I thought we were going to grow up together...and watch movies and talk about boys.." She laughed sadly "like we used to...I'm so sorry...."

Jack felt his hands be gripped tightly and he gripped Clary's hands back not as tight but just so she knew he was there for her.

She stood up and placed the flowers by Rose's grave "I love you Rose..you're always with me.." She said and wiped her eyes

Jack also stood up with Clary "do you wa-" he stopped talking and just acted, he hugged Clary tightly.

Clary hugged him back tightly "thankyou Jack...." She said quietly, trying not to cry again

Jack continued to hug her "Thank you for letting me come here, it means a lot to me." he said quietly.

"It's no problem.." She sighed "Jack, do you want to go for a coffee and we can talk?" She asked quietly but hopefully

"Sure, I would like that" Jack said back to Clary before slowly releasing the hug

She linked her fingers with his lightly an hesitantly and walked with him

He kept their fingers linked as they walked, he had to admit this felt nice. He hadn't ever done that with anyone before, as they approached a coffee shop her asked Clary "How does this place look?"

"This place is good" she nodded and smiled weakly "we should go and see Pero after this.." She suggested

"Yeah that would be good, I wonder how she is doing" Although Jack didn't even know that she survived he took what Clary said as that she did.

Clary ordered coffee with Jack and sat down at a table near the window just as it started to rain. "Oh look, the weather is being appropriate for my mood" she joked awkwardly to Jack

As Jack sat down with his coffee with two sugars he heard Clary joke about the rain and her mood he said "Do you ever feel like sometimes the weather changes, just to fit the mood you're in? It's a weird question I know but... Do you?"

"My..my mood never really changes..it's forced to change sometimes but deep down it doesn't...so no because the weather is sometimes sunny..." She looked down

Jack looked down as well... He felt himself grow tense not enough to show it outside but internally he felt like an idiot, he sighed "Yeah... it was a weird question anyway" he replied

"No, it was reasonable enough, I guess I'm just a miserable person but if the weather changes for your mood sometimes I understand what you mean" she said

He still looked down, "Thanks, you're a deep person Clary, I like that about you" he said before he thought about his next choice of words

"Thankyou, you're a nice an caring person an I like that about you" she smiled at him looking into his eyes properly for the first time today

He smiled back and looked into her eyes, he noticed that their eyes were locked, he wondered how many people actually got to see her eyes properly like this, he knew that he tended to avoid doing anything like this with anyone.

She looked into his eyes smiling and then blushed brightly when the waitress cleared her throat "s-sorry..." She said and ripped her gaze, when the waitress had gone and left them with their coffees she giggled

He noticed Clary blushing and he felt sort of awkward but excited deep down when the waitress had left he took a small drink of his coffee.

Clary smiled at Jack and said "so...." She said taking a sip of her coffee "how's your brother..?" She asked
