Heath pulled out his handgun and shot through the smoke, attempting to fire at the monster through the smoke. "No!" He screamed out, all hope of the plan to succeed draining from his body as he vaulted through the window.

Kristina screamed as the monster made it onto the roof and grabbed her with one bloodied tentacle and lifted her into the air.

Joseph also dropped his own bag, pulling out one of the pistols and running back into the grocer store, loading a fresh clip of ammo into the firearm. "Chase, wait up!"

Kristina struggled fruitlessly against the beast as she was thrown to the ground, where she hit her head and passed out as she was once again lifted towards the beast.

Heath jumped up at the beast which held Mac and pulled out a large blade from a holster, slashing it against the elongated tentacles which slapped around aimlessly. With Mac free, he fell to the ground, green blood spurting outward until the squid slimped dead.

Kristina was unconscious as the monster pulled her towards it's mouth.

Joseph looked around, trying to track Kristina's screams before they ceased, until he found one of the monsters looming above, holding Kristina to its mouth. He cursed loudly as he pointed the pistol upward, aiming hastily before firing twice at the tentacles which held his accomplice, taking two more shots into the beast's abdomen.

The beast screamed in pain and dropped Kristina... from the 4 story roof.

Joseph looked over to Heath which was tending to his hurt brother, slightly obstructed by the thick smoke which curved its way through the destruction. How was he supposed to save her. What was he supposed to do. He looked around with haste, his mouth agape as he looked for something she could land safely on, but found nothing. Before he could look any longer, another tentacle lashed out at Kristina, more and more heading toward her.

Kristina's unconscious body was caught on the ground by the slimy, yet very soft tentacles of the beast, her arms hanging limply.

Joseph held his gun by his side as he ran toward the beast which had caught her, coughing out the smoke which he inhaled. Once he was close enough, he aimed his gun until it was flicked from his hands by a skinny tentacle, more flinging out at him and wrapping around his body.

Kristina remained unconscious.

Joseph squirmed admist the tentacles as he brought out his knife with his free hand and violently stabbed it into one of the tendrils.

The monster screamed and dropped Joseph then thew Kristina at him in rage.

Joseph tumbled through the amassment of the tentacles and rubble, wrapping his arms around Kristina when she was bashed into him, forcing him to the ground. With a gasp and a roll, he came to his feet, trying his best to ignore the screeching of the monsters as he looked down at his accomplice with fear.

Kristina's head was bleeding from the gash she had gotten in her head when she was thrown against the ceiling.

"Kristina?" He rocked her side with a hand, propping her up with a hand, "Can you hear me?"

Kristina groaned softly but remained unconscious.

Joseph looked around, concerrn striking throughout him as he did so. Everything had gone wrong. Everything was crumbling and they were surrounded by the beast. He sccoped up Kirstina with no longer hesitation and ran through the smoke.

Kristina's head bounced and swung as she was carried, no muscles awake enough to keep it straight.

Finally coming back to the grocer he zipped through the aisles until he reached the filled bag of guns, placing Kristina down by it, cursing as he did so. Where the hell were Heath and Mac? He took out another pistol from the bag, loading a fresh clip into it.

Kristina groaned as she slumped to the side, her head still bleeding a little.

"Heath! Mac!" He called out as he came to his feet, watching the tentacles lash through the shallow walls the weaponry shop were surrounded with. With yet another curse, he fired at the green masses which swarmed into the structure, the knock back of the weapon making him stumble.

Kristina groaned as all the noise woke her, her head pounding unbearably, she slowly opened her eyes but before she could even get them a crack open she shut them again, the small amount of light that filtered through the smoke already too much.

"Mac!" He called out again, much louder this time as more and more tentacles flooded the space, and the firing of weaponry increased. "Heath!" Once he ran out of ammo, he brought out his bloodied knife and slashed at the skinnier tendrils which threatened the space. "Where are you?"
