The man didn't back down. "I don't want to hear anything from the likes of you boy! I'm taking my disrespectful daughter home!" He said and turned to the doctor. "Is she good to go?" The doctor nodded nervously.

Tarvo sighed and shook his head as he put his legs over the side of the bed. He didn't feel any pain. He let go of Karin's hand and stood, his legs a little shaky. "Your daughter is sweet, kind and above all else, innocent. She is more respectable than any women I have ever met. You are not worthy of the love and respect that she has for the both of you."

The man glared at Tarvo and shoved him back. "Get out!" He shouted then went and grabbed Karin's arm, and she screamed in pain as he grabbed her cut.

Tarvo only stumbled slightly. He regained his balance and lunged at Karin's father, striking the large man's throat, causing the man to gag and gasp for breath. Tarvo turned to Karin. "Are you alright?"

Karin held her arm as blood seeped through the bandages but she nodded. The man choked and gagged. "You... little... brat!" He punched Tarvo.

Tarvo blocked the punch and kicked the man in the gut as he did so. Tarvo kneeled in front of Karin and started to remove the bandag, being as careful as he could. He put pressure on the cut. "Can you hold this for me please?"

Karin flinched and nodded. The man grunted in pain and stumbled back, he looked for the doctor but he had fled.

Tarvo looked at the cut and started to clean the blood away. "Apply pressure to that." He ripped the bottom of his hospital gown into a strip.

Karin lifted her hand to stop him. "Tarvo... I'm fine... we need to get your sisters, and get out of here..."

Tarvo shook his head and wrapped the makeshift bandage around Karin's cut. "This is going to hurt a bit," he said as he tied a tight knot over the cut. He then unhooked himself from the machine and called for his sisters to join them. He carefully detatched Karin from her machines and offered her a hand.

Karin flinched but kept her mouth shut and took his hand, standing. "WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE TAKING HER!?" Her father roared as he stomped up to them.

Tarvo swung around and stared the father in the eye. "Somewhere safe." His sisters ran into the room and swerved past Karin's father. They clung to Tarvo and hid behind him and Karin, staring at the man in fear.

Karin's father smirked then, an evil, sick smirk. "We'll see about that." He then pulled out a hand gun.

Tarvo stood in front of Karin and grabbed a needle from the Petrie dish beside Karin's bed. He threw it at the man's hand and ran at him, squeezing the liquid into his body. "Quick girls. Get out of here. Make sure Karin gets out safely."

The man screamed and kicked at Tarvo as he fell backwards. "TARVO!" Karin shouted.

Tarvo hunched over and held his gut as the man kicked him in the gut. "Go Karin... I'm fine. Get out of here!" he said before he vomited.

Karin moved to go to him.

"Don't." He straightened slightly and walked to her, making slow progress because of his sore abdomen.

Karin looked at him with worried eyes.

Tarvo walked through the halls, slowly straightening and walking faster as his gut began to feel better. By the time he reached the double sliding doors, he was walking normally.

Karin stumbled some, still unsteady from her head injury and she had to hold onto Tarvo's shoulder for balance.

Tarvo put Karin's arm around his shoulder and allowed her to lean on him. He was feeling better. He moved a stray strand of hair behind her ear and smiled. "It's going to be alright."

Karin nodded, her eyes scrunched against the pain she felt.

Tarvo carried her out to the woods, not entering his people's territory but not not allowing them to be seen by anyone. He eased her down to a bed of leaves and sat beside her, sighing. His sisters began to climb a tree, laughing as they terrified each other with their "clumsiness".

Karin was breathing heavily and she clutched her head when she was sat down. "I'm... sorry..." She said quietly.
