Karin looked over at him and she blushed seeing he was awake and she quickly scrambled to put her shirt back on.

Tarvo hadn't seen Karin without her shirt but had heard her shuffling around madly. "I take it I woke at a bad time then?"

Karin was blushing and she nodded. "K-Kinda..."

Tarvo chuckled. “I thought so. Is it safe to look?”

"Yes..." Karin said quietly, embarrassed, her shirt now stained with his blood.

Tarvo removed his arm from his face and placed it under his head. He glanced at Karin and sat up abruptly, almost hitting his head on a rock. “What exactly were you doing?”

Karin looked at him confused. "I was cleaning your wounds." She said simply. "It's bad if their full of dirt or something."

Tarvo rubbed his neck. "Yeah. We have ointments I can use for that," he said flatly.

Karin's face fell and she looked down. "O-Oh... right... sorry..." She said quietly, feeling stupid when she just wanted to help.

Tarvo looked up and smiled weakly, seeing Karin's pain. "I'm sorry. It's just... I'm worried. That's all."

"About what?" She asked quietly still looking down.

"My sisters." Tarvo looked away from her.

Karin looked at him fully now, her eyes incredibly sad. "I'm so sorry... I promise I'll do whatever I can to help you get them out of there..."

Tarvo sighed. "Don't say you're sorry. You have nothing to be sorry about." He stood, legs still a little shaky. "We just have to be careful."

Karin nods and stood up to help him.

Tarvo looked at her awkwardly. "Thanks. I just don't want you caught up in all of this."

Karin shook her head. "It's fine, I want to help you, you helped me a bunch after all." She said as she helped him.

"I didn't do much," he said quietly. "I don't even know why I did it."

Karin felt a little saddened by that second part but she shook it off and smiled at him. "Are you kidding me? You literally saved my life. That's a lot to repay, so just let me try."

Tarvo smiled weakly. "I just don't want you to get hurt trying to repay me for something."

Karin chuckled softly. "You don't give me enough credit. I may not be a tribal boy but I can handle myself." She said with a smile.

Tarvo laughed. "Yeah but seriously, we've been living out here for centuries. Normally, we're stealthier than a fox. Those two were just idiots."

Karin chuckled softly and helped him out of the cave.

Tarvo looked around, slightly dazed. "Right. The village is to the right. West of here."

"So we're going to get your sisters?" She asked.
