| The only indication that Kara had heard her was a quick flick of her eyes in her direction before she buried her face into Jenny's shoulder, continuing to cry. She wrote a message in the dirt. "Won't it be suspicious if you're not with us?" |

| Brisa shrugged. "He would know why I left once I got back to the camp and started to look for your stuff. We could make an excuse, to distract from it. Like I had to get away from all this because it was getting to me too much. Anything would work really." She whispered to Kara. |

| Kara nodded softly, as if in response to Jenny's words of comfort.
Hayden felt bad for Kara but he found himself watching Brisa, noticing the slight movement of her lips, he wondered what she was doing. |

| Brisa got up and snuck away in silence. She thought everyone's attention was on Kara and her tears. She got into the woods and looked back to find Hayden's eyes on her. She turned around wanting to get away unseen but that didn't work out. |

| Hayden saw Brisa leaving and looked over, the other two were focused on Kara so he followed Brisa silently. He didn't say anything, just tapped her on the shoulder and gave her a questioning look. |

| Brisa looked at him, wishing she could have snuck away without anyone watching. She did like she did for Kara, whispered the words so only Hayden could hear. "I have to get Kara's bag. I'll be back in a few days." Brisa turned, knowing that was not going to go down well with him, but she jumped into a tree to avoid his protest or request to follow. |

| "Brisa...!" Hayden tried to protest but she was already gone. He sighed. "That girl..." But he was sure not to say anything more. He headed back to camp where Kara had 'calmed down and looked back and forth between Kai and Jenny sadly.
"Sorry guys..." |

| Brisa watched Hayden return to the camp from the tree. She knew it was better to get there fast and Hayden would slow her down. She jumped from tree to tree silently, quickly making her way back into earth tribe territory. From there she started on the path they took to get to the camp.
Kara had calmed down some and he noticed that Hayden had just came back from somewhere. "Where did you go?" Kai asked. |

| Hayden looked over at him. "Scouting, Brisa said she had something she needed to see Shala for something. She'll catch up in a few days." |

| Kai nodded. He wished she would have taken someone with her. She is so tiny and fragile. He hoped she would be okay. "Kara, do you think we can start? Are you okay to go?" Kai asked gently. |

| Kara nodded, wiping her eyes. "Yeah, I'm ok now... I'm sorry..." She sniffled a little so she'd still look upset.
Jenny patted her back. "Let's go." Meanwhile she made a message in the dirt asking if Brisa went to get Kara's bag.
Kara smiled softly. "Yeah, let's go." She wrote a yes in the dirt. Her best friend knew her so well. |

| Kai grabbed the froze bag. It was heavy on his shoulder. He noticed how Kara seemed to be okay. She had never let something that upset her go so quickly and easily. Kai guessed that Brisa went to get Kara's bag which increased his worry for the small air bender. The started to walk toward the kingdom, slowly but surely.
Brisa continued on. She moved quickly and paid attention to her surroundings. She would be to the camp soon. |

| Kara walked between Kai and Jenny with Hayden behind them. She occasionally would go to adjust her bag strap then realize she didn't have a bag and her face would grow sad. |

| Kai grabbed Kara's hand, the one she kept trying to adjust her nonexistent bag with to keep her from doing it. It was nice to finally be able to hold her hand without worry. |

| Kara blushed slightly and looked down at their joined hands then back up at him and gave him a thankful smile.
Jenny smirked slightly and whispered in her ear. "You're still telling me what happened last night." She laughed as Kara's face turned bright red. |

| Kai leaned forward to look at Jenny then at Kara. Girls and their gossip. But he couldn't help but wonder what Kara was going to say about him.
Brisa bounced into a tree to see a familiar sight. It was their camp with a tree fallen beside it, but it had been ransacked. She jumped down from the tree, wanting to get a closer look. |

| Kai continued on.
Brisa looked around the camp, most of the stuff was torn apart. One of the packs were ripped in half and everything was scattered around it, smashed or ripped. Who would do this? Brisa looked around trying to find Kara's bag but couldn't find it. That was when she first heard them. She heard their breathing, their slight shift in position. Brisa stopped looking at the ground and shifted her attention to the trees and bushes. This was not going to be good.

| Kara asked if they could stop for a short break and Jenny almost immediately dragged her over to a stream so they wouldn't be over heard. "Spill it." |

| Kai sat down, thankful to set the heavy bag down. He saw the girls walk away and wished to know what was said. Instead he bit into a banana.
"Is this what you're looking for?" Shakra, or who she thought must be Shakra, came out holding Kara's bag. Smothers followed him by coming out of the shadows. Brisa never considered running, but if she did it would already be too late. Brisa shrugged, noticing his anger at her mild gesture. He wanted her to talk back, snap back at him. He enjoyed watching them suffer but Brisa was too caught up in her world to deal with that. Instead of getting, Brisa sent air at the bag getting it from Shakra. The six air benders here tried to stop her from getting it, but Brisa over powered them. The bag floated on the breeze the short distance and safely into Brisa's arms. This ticked Shakra off to no end. How could this little air bender be stronger than six of his? He wanted to test how strong she was. "Get her." He commanded the overwhelming 20 benders. There were the six air, 7 fire, and 7 water all going after Brisa.

| Kara caught Jenny up on what had been going on then went into detail about what had happened the night before. Blushing slightly as she explained.
Jenny squealed and hugged Kara tight. "No way! I'm so happy for you!" |

| Kai looked at the few fruit that was left in the 'bag'. He tossed a fruit to Hayden. "You're going to have to eat it, I'm not carrying them any further." Kai planned giving the girls some to once they got back.
Brisa looked at the Smothers, quickly sending some of them flying away. A little bout of panic rouse in her, she knew she was out numbered but she fought honorably on not willing to give up the bag. It wasn't long when blows started to land. It was a fire bender first, he hit Brisa in her thigh. She felt the sting but put it in the back of her mind, she needed to focus. The blows continued to land. Next was a water bender, he hit her in the side of the face, snapping her head to the side. She lost her focus and an air bender sent her flying back until she hit a tree. Her back stung, but she got up, facing her assailants. She still had the bag in her hands, not willing to give it up. She knew it wasn't about the bag, but about her.

| Hayden nodded to him and bit into the apple, his mind on Brisa. He was beginning to worry, though she said a few days she could have been there and back by now. She could fly after all. |

| Kai melted the bag, playing with the water. He wanted the girls to return because he was worried that they could be saying something bad.
Out of no where they stopped. Brisa looked up and Shakra was standing as close as he could to her without getting blown away, his white hair whipping in every direction. He said something but the whirlwind from the shield kept it from her. Brisa pulled the words to her, through the shield. "Stay in there, little one. Once you get tired, we'll be waiting to attack. Or you can just tell me your plan and where Kara would be. We can part ways and nothing more will happen to you." A cruel smile was on his face. Brisa looked at the man, she could feel the evil from him, she shook her head violently at him resulting in a large smile growing on his face. "It will be fun to watch you die." He said then turned and walked away, into the crowd of Smothers waiting for Brisa.

| Kara and Jenny returned a little while later and Jenny pushed Kara over so she sat next to Kai, a big smile on her face. |
