Akura stood. "I protest," she said sternly before falling onto her bed in pain. "I can't let you go back alone. You have no idea what the Sensei will do to you. Besides, I have more skill."

Hyoto looked at her sternly. "No, I am going alone. That's final" he said. "Besides, I dont plan on letting myself be seen. I'm going alone and that's it. I can handle myself. I dont doubt your skill. Youre better then me. You'll probably be the best ninja ever" he said, slowly smiling as he said it. Then, he got up and left, and locked the door behind him.

He finally reached the edge of the dojo, imposing towers and walls looming over him. Ajax panted, moving around the concrete surfaces slowly, looking for an entrance - or a way past these seemingly impenetrable walls. He looked up, noticing two black ninja's move across one of the spires - clearly on patrol. He instantly and instinctively pressed his back against the wall, the chatter above coming to his ears - a mere mutter.

Once they had passed, Ajax continued his search, much more cautious as his eyes darted around with attention, yet caution.

Hyoto climbed on top of the building. He ran quickly, parkouring over chimneys, and jumping over gaps towards the black dojo, he saw a figure in the distance. Ajax, he thought. Perspiration ran down his brow, and his hand swept across, wiping it away. When he got closer he jumped down to the ground, and landed softly.

Ajax flipped around, facing a familiar looking silhouette. He stood there for a moment, hand gripping around his katana before giving a slight backflip, rolling back into the overgrowth as he began to run hastily, dodging dead stumps and other guards which were dispatched outside the dojo walls.

Hyoto saw Ajax ghosting through the night dodging the line of sight of the guards. He followed silently, wondering what he could possibly be doing. His right hand dropped to his katana. He crouched low and ran, the perspiration vanishing as everything became cold.

Ajax finally approached a draw-bridge looking entrace, surrounded by a glistening lake and two guards - their faces snuffed out by turbans. He slowly progressed forward, his legs swaying through the grass before he pounced forward, plunging his katana into one of men's stomachs before hastily gripping a throwing blade and flicking it forward - watching it hit the other guard's face. They both slumped to the ground and he gave a slight nod, moving across the draw bridge and running forward.

Hyoto had seen enough to know what he was doing. He ran faster, not bothering to crouch, and leapt at Ajax, tackling him to the ground. "You ave 2 minutes to leave. Now" he said, in a low deadly voice.
He looked at Ajax with pure hatred.

Ajax scrambled away from his tight grasp, gripping another on of the throwing knives in his hands. He eyed his former companion curiously, watching his hand movements and darting eyes - filled with hatred and determination. "Hello, Hyoto." He regained composure, and took a step back, gripping his katana in his other hand as he moved into a fighting stance.

Hyoto sighed. "If we must," he said softly, gripping both katanas, and sliding them out. He circled him, waiting for the first move.

Ajax gave a chuckle, letting a smile tug at his lips before lunging forward, clashing his sword against Hyoto's. "I expected you to come." He said as he recoiled before moving in once again - the metal creating illuminating sparks, "Just you. Knowing you wouldn't of let your companion come with you-" He swerved, twirling once as he nipped the sword into Hyoto's thigh, before stepping back and returning to a guard position. "-it's your biggest downfall."

Hyoto grunted in pain, and began a ferocious downcut at Ajax, and clinked it against his, and then did a sidecut, then a backhand, and then threw a shuriken at him, doing all this instantly, without hesitation.

Ajax swerved his first two strikes - without any hesitation, not noticing the shruiken which stabbed into his foot. He groaned in pain as he ran forward - the shruiken protruding from his calf which he kicked into Hyoto's gut, letting it pull free from his own flesh. With a mad grin, he twirled his katana, trying to ignore the pain which pulsed throughout his body as he took two steps back - three steps back, before running off once again - through the gates of the black dojo.

Hyoto felt the pain coursing through his body, and gripped his stomach dropping to the ground, letting the katanas fall to the ground. He lookedd up at the sky. "Akura" he moaned.

Akura had given in to her pain. Sleep had only entered her for a short time before she woke and smashed open the window. What was she giving up for? She had never listened to anyone in her life. So what had changed?
She ran through the streets of the village, not bothering to conceal her Katana. Her kimono had dried. The black and purple fabric flew in the breeze behind her.
Akura reached the Black dojo gates to see Hyoto on the ground, blood spilling from his thigh. "You idiot. You should have let me come." She stopped and kneeled beside him, ripping a piece of her kimono to wrap around his wound.

Hyoto smiled weakly. "If I'm an idiot, what does that make you... We have to stop Ajax, hes attacking the dojo." he said, standing up. He groaned in pain.

Akura finished tying the bandage around Hyoto's leg and helped him stand. "It makes me Naive." She rested him against a tree. "Stay put. This isn't your fight. You don't know him like I do." She left him and ran after Ajax.

Hyoto watched her run after Ajax. "No," he groaned. He stood up, groanng. He limped after her, aware that whatever happened, he probably wouldnt survive. The only thing that mattered to him was making sure Akura would survive.

Ajax ran up the cobbled steps of the dojo rather silently, slitting open the bodies of guards he passed, dragging their limp bodies under trees before continuing his progression. He should have felt guilt, or some bit of remorse - but none came to him. The only thing that did, was his sheer determination and will.

Akura saw Ajax just ahead of her. She jumped onto one of the roofs and followed him, her feet as silent as the night against the roof tiles. When she had just managed to get in front of him, she jumped from the roof and landed in front of him, stopping him in his tracks. "I don't want to have to choose a side Ajax. Please dont make me," she said, not drawing her swords.

Ajax stopped moving, his bloodied hands and swords being cleansed by the rain which poured down. He stared at her for a few minutes, with intent - the only thing between them was silence. "I have something to do. If you don't move out of my way - I'll help you with it." His voice was almost tipped with sarcasm as he took a step forward, his head throbbing and his heart pounding.

Akura sighed heavily, drawing her dual katana."Then you leave me no choice. I'll have to teach you how to use the breaks." She rushed at him, leaving her pain behind her.

Ajax stifled a laugh, more concentrating on his next move as he awaited her come close enough, before sidestepping, ramming the hilt of his katana into her back. "Don't think we're friends. We're enemies - we always were. I was so stupid to think you were an acquaintance." He wiped away perspiration which clouded his vision as he rushed forward, springing into the air as he aimed the sword at Akura's stomach.

Hyoto ran towards the ensuing battle between the two, ignoring the searing pain in his leg. He thrust his katane out, blocking Ajax's thrust at Akuras stomach. "No" he groaned.

Akura had blocked the attack to her back with one of her Katana. She kicked Hyoto away, grimacing ad she did. She didn't want to hurt him butit wa the only way he would learn. "Stay out of it Hyoto." She turned to Ajax, thrusting her Katana at his leg. "Stop doing he fancy moves you moron. One day I might accidently cut you." She swung her other Katana at Ajax, aiming for his arm. "I may not have been your friend but you were sure as hell mine!"
