Hyoto got up and began wondering the rooftops, trying to find Akura. It had been tough these past few days.

Akura struggled to stand. Her body was sore. She lifted the arm of her Kimono a little to see blue-black bruises covering her pale skin. “Seriously?” she muttered. She grasped a Katana from her back and used it to help her walk. The pain of each movement shot through her body.

Ajax did a backflip and landed on the top of the roof of a desolate house as the sun began painting delicate strokes across the streets which were seemingly empty. He had to complete his mission – forfill the task he was set by his master. He had to admit it, however – he was almost like a dog, being put out on tasks which endangered him. Ajax sighed as he climbed to the very top of the slanted roof and looked at the Black Dojo which was partially hidden by an array of clouds. “Let’s finish this.”

He saw a figure in the distance, using a katana like a walking stick. Akura, he thought sadly. He walked over to her. He put his arm over her shoulder. "Let me help you" he said quietly.

Ajax jumped from building, like he'd done with Akura the previous night, catching specks of rain on his face as he progressed. He still hated the way things had turned out and he still had to find his accomplice. He wiped sweat from his brow before powering on relentlessly.

Akura jumped from the contact of the unknown person. She was so sore and tired she didn't even recognise the voice.
She turned, holding her Katana to the persons throat. It wavered and fell when she realised who it was. "H-Hyoto?" she stammered before falling to her knees from exhaustion. She had been walking for two hours at least. She slowly slipped our of conscience.

He saw the black dojo on a mountain in the distance, slightly hidden by a simmering amount of fog and smoke which had been accumulated by the city below. Ajax flipped from the precariously perched roof top and landed on the ground with a soft thud and crunch of gravel. A touch of his katana flushed him with confidence as he sprinted toward the black dojo.

"Yes it's me, Akura." He said, putting his arm around her waist, helping her walk. He started walking towards a ladder, as to help her down back to the ground so they could go back to the hotel.

"Hyoto," Akura said after they had walked for a while. She could feel herself slipping. The bruises covering her body made it difficult to feel much else. Even warmth was absent from her.

Hyoto felt her slip, and pulled her back up, and tightened his grip, only a little, as not to hurt her bruising even further. "Come on," he whispered quietly," only a little more to go." He reached the ladder, and became confused, unaware how to get her down.

Akura couldn't climb down the ladder and she knew it. Her vision was blurry and her head was spinning. "Hyoto. Catch me," she said as she slipped out of consciousness.

Hyoto caught her as she slipped into unconsciousness. He pulled her up, and put her over his shoulder. He grabbed the ladder with one hand, and held her over his shoulder by the other, he swung himself down, and climbed down slowly. He got down, and out her into his arms, and began walking back to the hotel.

Akura felt nothing. Darkness engulfed her vision and she slept a dreamless sleep. There was nothing to embrace but the darkness. The darkness that had been her friend for years.

Hyoto walked into the hotel, and lay her down on her bed, looking at her sadly. He put her blanket over her body, and then sat on his own bed, waiting for her to awaken.

(...wow it's been a while since I last posted in this)
Hayato finally reached the hotel, after taking his time to look out for signs of his friend; however he had found none, and had to leave, as he could barely operate without sleep. As soon as he got back to his room, he collapsed on his bed, and waited for something to happen, be it the arrival of someone or sleep.

Akura jolted upright. She looked around her, unsure of how she got there. When she saw Hyoto, she guessed that he had carried her to the room. "How long have I been out for?" she asked sheepishly.

"Not that long" he replied, sighing with relief as she woke. "You fell unconscious as we reached the ladder, so I carried you down, and brought you here so you could rest comfortably till you woke" he said. "Any idea where our little 'friend' is?" he asked as well, his face deadpan.

Akura shook her head, holding her head. "No. I wish I did though."

Ajax gripped both of his katanas tightly as he ran, perspiration trickling from his pulsing forehead. Anger gripped him, twirling with determination and grief - all the death and loss this war had caused, the memories rushing back to him. Wave by wave.

(Maybe hes a rebel, or he stole yours, or maybe he doesnt care about his creed, either way its time to move on with the story)

"Well that's what worry's me.." he said, looking at the roof. Then he looked back at her, his eyes determined. "I'm going to back the the black dojo, to see what I can find there, see if I can find anything out." He looked at her sternly. "You're staying here, and going to rest. I'm going alone."

(Dismiss my second katana )

Ajax leapt on each rooftop until he was bounding across the canopies of trees, the mountain ahead coming into view more clearly now, fog beginning to form around his feeble body. He needed to do this - he needed to have faith in himself, not let small drops of perspiration and deprival of sleep affect him. Not now. His leaps increased - turning into seemingly massive jumps which cleared two trees in a row. He allowed a smile to come upon his face as he increased his speed.
