Hyoto smiled grimly. "If he cannot accept who you are, that is his problem. It is not for you to worry about" he said. He reached the hotel, and walked into the room.

"Who I am is not to be respected in any way. You of all people should know that." She walked back to her bed and lay down without bothering to take her Katana off. She laced her fingers under her head and stared at the ceiling.

"Akura, you are someone to be respected, highly respected among others. I of all people know that" he said, lying down on his bed. "Now, get some sleep" he said, yawning.

Akura scoffed. "Yeah right," she mumbled. She rolled over and faced the wall. It was going to be a long night.

Hyoto sighed. He rolled over and went to sleep.

As soon as they entered their hotel room, Hayato locked the door, and let his thoughts flow out of his mouth. "What should we do about the black ninjas? Especially if they learn that we're white ninjas? Do we have an escape path? How did you know her? You know, the girl. And what did she mean by failing a test?"

"Woah. Calm down." He ushered her towards a seat, sighing, "It's... It's a long story with what happened with her." Ajax sat in the opposite seat, clasping his hands around his head.

Hyoto eventually went to sleep, and dreamed a dream of terror and as being slaughtered bemeath the smoke of destruction were the bodies of two white ninjas, katana in hand.

He sat down, and waited for Ajax to tell him everything.

Ajax moved his hands away, sighing, "She used to be white ninja... just like us." He looked away, memories of their training sessions returning, "We used to be friends. Training together, y'know?" He sighed again, looking back at Hayato. "Before the war started, she transferred to the black ninja dojo to learn their ways... I hadn't seen her again. Until now."

"Oh...." He lowered his head, and thought for a moment, frowning. "I guess that means we can consider her to be an ally...." he muttered, before lifting his head and turning to Ajax. "Well, thanks for telling me... it's getting late, so we should probably be getting some sleep soon. Goodnight." He headed for his bed, and wrapped himself with the sheets.

Akura still couldn't sleep. She got up when she heard that Hyoto had fallen asleep and walked to the door. She slid it open and walked down the hall to the room that had recently been occupied. She opened it a crack. "Psst. Ajax. You here?"

Ajax looked toward the door, his eyebrow raising. "Is... Is that you, Akura?" He lifted himself off the chair silently, opening the door further, revealing her face.

She smiled slightly. "Yeah. I can't sleep," she said with a sigh. "Can you sleep?"

"I don't know." He shrugged, stepping into the hallway. "I haven't tried, I was talking to Hayato about what happened with you."

She looked away, slightly embarrassed. "You know I only left because I wanted to learn right?" She hoped he knew this but wasn't sure.

"Of..." He quietened down, not wanting anyone else to hear them, "Of course." He smiled, "It's so good to see you again."

Hyoto woke up. Akuras gone, he thought. He walked outside to see her sitting with the white ninjas. "Pyjama party ey?" He asked. He went over and sat down. "What's going on?" He aske tiredly.

Akura glanced at Hyoto. "You should be sleeping. It won't be an easy day tomorrow." She glanced at Ajax worridly. Akura started to fiddle a little. She was always anxious when she was interupted. She looked back to Ajax then glanced out the window. "The sun will rise soon. I want to show you something."

Ajax looked over the boy which had intruded, waving a hand through the air dismissively - almost rudely. His attention returned to Akura, "What'd you want to show me?"

Akura stood and glanced at Hyoto one last time before saying, "Follow me." She began to walk down the hall and gripped a widow sill, lifting her body onto the roof. She waited for Ajax to follow her.

Ajax nodded, smiling - she always was the mischievous one, with that lust for adventure and discovery. To be honest, they had a lot in common. He followed, being cautious with sound.

Akura smiled when she saw Ajax follow. She started to run silently on the roof, jumping from one to the other. When she reached the tallest building in the village,she hauled herself onto it's roof. She sat on the roof and looked back at Ajax, who wasn't too far behind. "Hurry up. It's starting," she called to him.

Ajax sped up, bouncing from rooftop to rooftop, his legs moving like pistons of a car. He finally reached Akura, slightly crouching as he gulped in a large amount of air. "What's starting?" He asked, looking up at her.

She pointed to the black dojo. "The sun is rising." Her eyes lit up as the aray of oranges and reds pierced the sky behind the main building. It was beautiful. She sighed quietly and watched the sun rise. "I used to come up here when the dojo made me uncomfortable. It was so lonely there without people like you. People I was familiar with." She leaned back and relaxed a little more. She shut her eyes as the warmth from the rising sun lightly touched her face.
