"Do you have any money?" He instantly asked.

Kai shook her head. She had been flat broke ever since she had met Gandal. “Sorry.”

He muttered, unsure what to say, "I guess we won't be eating anything at the cafe?"

She smiled sadistically. “I never said that.”

"Money?" Phillip said slowly, "We need money."

Kai laughed. “No we don’t. So long as there is a male working the shift, I can get food for free.”

He laughed before walking away, "We shall leave now, in that case."

Kai smiled and stood, hanging her bag over her shoulder. She walked through the door, tapping the frame before leaving.

His pace slowed slightly as she neared, before jamming his hands into his pockets. "The cafe isn't too far away."

"Good. I don't particularly feel like walking too far. Lead the way," she said, gesturing for him to walk in front of her.

Phillip smiled, "Sure thing, Kai." With that, he picked up a normal pace and went off toward the streets.

Kai followed, not too sure what to say. She just wanted to get to the café and start hacking like she had since she was twelve.

Should he tell her? She would be the first one to know, and possibly the only one. Keeping it a secret wasn't a good idea and it had been killing him. Phillip raised his head an turned slightly, "Kai..." He began saying, gulping.

Kai looked up at him, a questioning look on her face. "Yeah?"

"I..." He gulped once again, uncertainty pulsing through him as his eyes drilled into hers, "I need to tell you something."

Kai held his gaze. She found it slightly awkward but she managed to hold it. "What is it?"

He smiled grimly before blinking and his body wavered before disappearing into thing air.

(Say what? This is realistic RP no?)

Kai slowed to a stop. "What the..." she stuttered.

A voice came from behind Kai, "Hi." Phillip said as his body shimmered and appeared behind her, "I'm a shapeshifter."

(Isn't this reality?)

Kai turned. "A shapeshifter? Isn't that fantasy stuff?"

"That's what my parents said... I'm not actually gay... I was kicked out of school because of this." He teleported again, reappearing beside her.

Kai laughed. "You lyed about being gay because you're a shapeshifter? That's kinda low." She turned to him and smiled. "I think shapeshifting is pretty cool."

"I know... it's wrong." He smiled, "I just... I just thought I needed to tell you..." Phillip's voice trailed off, "I know a way to speed things up, just stand still, okay?"

Kai stared at him. "Oh...kay?"

He smiled before touching her arm, and the air around them shimmered before turning into black. After a few seconds, the blackness turned into the entrance door which led to a cafe.
