Kai grabbed the blade until her hand bled. She winced as it cut her skin. She glared at the man. "No."

The man pushed her away, "As you wish." He spat the words at her, his attention turning toward Jack, "You. You must be Gandal's 'friend.'" He said, moving forward, keeping one eye on Kai.

"Correction. I'm Gandal's friend too you know." She held her hand up and blood dripped down her wrist. She looked at it briefly and shrugged.

"Have you found the person who killed your little friend?" The man asked, grinning as he twirled the knife in his hand.

Kai glared at him. "I'm looking at him," she said coldly.

He nodded, smiling, "Good girl." He chuckled, "Do you know who I am?"

She cocked her head slightly. "You're his brother."

The man hesitated before saying another cocky phrase. "You're smart, I must say - quite so." He clapped slightly, reiterating the point, "How'd you figure it out?"

"You don't know anything about me do you? I'm a hacker. And you have shit security." She smiled slyly.

"My name is Anthony." He continued, ignoring her completely, but acknowledging her arrogance. "And you're going to die the same way Gandal died."

"Sounds peacful," Kai says sarcastically.She spreads her arms out wide. "So Anthony. Do what you will."

He flipped his knife, the blade catching a small crack of light which emanated from a window in the roof of the building. "Are you sure?" Anthony grinned as he traced the blade around where her heart would lay.

Kai eyed him carefully. "So long as you don't hurt Jack. Sure."

He turned to Jack, hauling his seat closer to Kai. He pressed the knife against his neck, grinning sadistically, "Sit down."

Kai swallowed hard. "You wouldn't dare." She squinted a Anthony.

"Oh really?" He smirked, "Now sit down."

Kai sat reluctantly. "Tie a decent knot this time would you?"

"Of course." He began cutting at Jack's neck slowly.

Kai wanted to lunge forwards and throttle him. She knew that if she did, he would kill Jack. She sat back, making herself look more relaxed, hoping this would be enough to make him back off. "For god's sake. Can no-one fill a simple request?" She shook her head. "If you want to kill someone, kill me. But if you do, beat me to death. I want pain."

"Of course you do, Kai." He said, releasing the knife from Jack's neck, wiping away the blood with a white cloth. He replaced the knife with a gun which he pressed against Kai's head. "What do you want?"

She smirked. "A beating."

"Kai." He whispered into his ear, "Tell me what you want."

She flinched at how close he was and her face turned sour. "I want a beating."

He scowled, "Kai, why do you want me dead?" He asked, making sure she understood the question he was trying to ask.

"Who ever said I wanted you dead?" she asked, not exactly understanding his question.
