George caught up to him "George wins!" He shouted throwing sand everywhere, while Clary was in fits of laughter

Jack left George to play in the sandpit and he followed Clary to Alicia

Jack noticed a third swing but decided not to sit down it on it, he stood back and watched Clary and Alicia on the swings

Clary talked to Alicia about how she wasn't sure how long Jace was staying, since Alicia was older she could have these conversations with her

Jack tried not to eavesdrop on Clary and Alicia but he couldn't help but listen, he looked over at Jace and he saw that Jace was staring back at him.

Jack sighed, he disliked conflict and didn't want to cause any problems for Clary and her family so he looked away and just stared at the ground for a moment

"nah, it just takes a while to get to know him, he used to be decent..but I don't know him well enough now" she shrugged
