She nodded "that would be great" she smiled brightly at him and then put Alicia down and let George and Alicia play together

He smiled back at her. "Well those two seem nice" He said with honesty. "Or was that just an act because I am here?" He asked while laughing.

She grinned "only because you're here, otherwise, they play hell for me" she laughed

He laughed with her "I hope they behave when I am not here, it seems like it would be hard to try and look after two little kids"

"kinda, my brother used to help but not now" she changed the subject quickly, "so um, do you want a cup of tea or coffee?" she asked smiling

"Hmm, I think I might change it up and have some tea" He smiled back. Her brother seemed to be a sore subject for her, he thought to himself.

Clary smiled and nodded, then came back with two teas and sat on the sofa with Jack

As Jack took his tea he said thank you and sat down next to Clary, he wasn't used to actually going to peoples house other than his own. It felt nice thought, he looked at her and smiled.

Clary smiled "so what about your family/" she asked and sat facing him, crossing her legs

Jack smiled back "What do you want to know?" He asked

"anything I guess" she smiled and sipped her tea

Jack looked around "Well lets see there is my brother... And that's basically it" He said looking down "I have more family they're just all extended and not really close to us"

"awwwh" clary put a hand on Jacks arm and comforted him "Well your brother did a pretty good job with you" she winked and then laughed

He laughed back "Thanks I guess" He replied "I dunno how he would feel about pretty good" Jack joked.

Clary laughed "hmm how about, fabulous? or excellent? hm my vocabulary isn't very big" she joked and laughed

Jack laughed with Clary "It's fine, I think excellent will do. I think you were raised excellently also" Jack said with a smile.

She laughed "why thankyou" she said and turned around so she could rest her head on his shoulder, then there was another knock at the door and she heard someone shout "Clary!" so she got up and answered the door "Jace..?" she said quietly to her older brother

"Jace?" Jack whispered to himself, he didn't know anyone by that name. But then again it was Clary's house why would he know anyone here.

Clary let her brother in and he walked in quickly, then he looked at Jack "wait who's this?" Jace said
Clary looked at him "this is my boyfriend Jack, he helped me a lot more than you ever did" she scowled "anyway why are you here?" she said to Jace

Jack could feel the tension, if he had a sword it would be possible to cut it in half. He got up and stood near Clary but not that close to her, when he got close to her he felt the air grow think and tense.

Jace looked at her "im looking for our parents" he scowled back, Clary sighed and looked at him in defeat "they haven't been here in about a year now, why did little Jacey get into trouble?" she mocked him and he scowled back. Clary reached for Jacks hand in comfort

Jack grabbed Clary's hand and held it tightly. What ever was about to happen Jack was on Clary's side

Jace looked at her "look I just need a place to say..." he said. "and why should I let you here?" she asked, Jace shrugged and looked down letting his hair fall over his eyes, "fine you can stay here, but you need to look after George and Alicia, and you are sleeping on the sofa, not in with me" Jace pouted and Clary glared at him

Jack gave Clary's hand a squeeze. He couldn't believe this was happening.

Clary looked at Jace "you will take Alicia and George to the park now, please" she said all in the same tone of voice. "Fine" Jace huffed and waked off with Alicia and George. Clary sighed and sat back on the sofa with Jack
