Anyone played either 1,2 or even 3? what are your thoughts? Do you enjoy making your own theme park with customized rides? I know I do! <3

I've played all 3 (I think a 4th one is in the works) I really liked the 2nd one. It was a great improvement from 1. Not really a fan of 3...the so called '3D' doesn't even look good...

Roller Coaster Tycoon 1, 2, and 3 are great.

For the love of god, do not buy Roller Coaster Tycoon 4.

It completely destroys the game. It is a microtransaction riddled piece of crap. It's the same deal as EA did with their bloody Dungeon Keeper reboot.

Here's a good video explaining it. It has cursing, so be warned if you don't like that. However, I strongly suggest you watch it. Nerd³ explains the situation better than I can.

I've played mostly all of them except for 3 and 4. I think my favorite part was seeing what crazy designs I could come up with for the roller coasters.

I played this for hours back in middle school. I would pretty much buy a new version of this if it were possible, as long as the format resembled the first two installments. I'm surprised that they pretty much ceased any new installments to the franchise.

This is an awesome game that I played a lot when I was a kid! I always liked how open-ended it was, like a lot of the other sandbox games. It can get a little boring after a while though, that's probably my only complaint about it.
