Brisa looked at Kai and Hayden. They were still beaten pretty bad. "Is Shala going to heal you guys too?"

Kai shrugged. His arm was killing him and his head hurt, but nothing like what Brisa was suffering from. "I think she only does that for dyer emergencies. You being one of them." He picked at some of his blisters but Brisa smacked his hand away giving him her version of a glare.

The man smiled almost warmly at her. "I am Shakra, I am Shala's brother yet I was born with the power not to see the future but to know anyone's past. You have been through some trouble it seems." He said in mock sympathy.

"Because of you..." She grumbled.

Kai looked around, then decided to say. "Are we ready to get Kara yet?" He couldn't continue waiting. Every second he felt like he was letting Kara down. He had to get to her, he's made too many promises to her to keep her safe and he was dying a little inside by breaking such important things to him.

Brisa looked back and forth between the two injured guys. Kai looked bad but he just wanted to go. Hayden looked worst because of his hunched over position in the chair. Personally, she was ready to get Kara back but the others weren't.

Hayden stood up with a small grunt. "Yeah, but first we need to make a plan..."

Shakra continued. "As for why I am doing this and why I want you it gets to be a little more complicated. But basically I want power. And there are a few things I get from you that lead to my own power."

"And what is that?" Kara said testily.

"Well for one, what's more powerful than having the last Earth Bender, the key to the survival of Pantera, in your possession? Not a lot right?" He smirked. "I also believe that you can lead me to something my dear..." He gave her a sickly sweet smile.

"No." Brisa said, angered. It fell away quickly, but the slight flare was noticeable. "You two are too hurt to go anywhere. If we go in there to fight then we are all going to die." Brisa left the room to find Shala and ask her to heal them.

Kai looked at Hayden, tempted to ask about his feelings for Brisa, but knew he wouldn't answer. Instead Kai sat down. He wanted to save Kara when he was at full strength, but would walk in there in any condition to get her.

Hayden watched her go. Shala was roaming around outside.

Kara stared at him, confused and a little repulsed by the smile. "What... would that be...?" She asked.

Shakra smirked. "The secret of the Earth Tribe, hidden within the true capitol..."

Brisa located Shala quickly. She went up to her, not surprising her in the slightest. "Could you heal Hayden and Kai? We can't save Kara is they are already wounded like they are." She gave Shala a small smile before noticing the heavy breeze and the smell of rain in the air. It was about to rain, again. Brisa enjoyed the last storm, but this time it wasn't going to be as helpful.

Shala turned to look at Brisa, her eyes more pained than usual. "It is safest that you do not go..."

Kara stared at the man, confused. "The Earth Tribe's secret...?"

"Well it doesn't really matter if you're there or not. What we need..." He ripped down the collar of her shirt and grabbed hold of her choker, pulling her so that her face was inches from his. "Is an Earth Bender who is worthy of wearing this."

Brisa looked at Shala confused. "Why not? We have to get Kara back."

Kai was getting impatient and started to pace. He was just itching to leave.

Shala gave her a sad smile. "My brother is a cruel man who does not keep his word. He will kill you all in a heartbeat if you cause trouble..."

"W-What...?"

"You are dismissed." Two men grabbed Kara's arms and began to drag her away.

"I WANT TO SEE JENNY! LET ME SEE JENNY!"

"Do whatever you want." So the

men dragged her to Jenny's room.

"You're brother? Shala, please. We are going to go, you should know that whether you heal them or not. Are you going to give them a fighting chance or not?" Brisa crossed her arms wanting answers.

Kai looks at Hayden. "I'm going to go find her. We have to leave. I can't stand it any longer." It was like a pressure had built up inside his head and he needed it to be released. He had to go to Kara.

"Just wait until Brisa comes back. If we're going, we're going together. We need all of our elements in order to stand a chance against the Smothers men." Hayden said, his leg bouncing impatiently.

Shala sighed and smiled at her. "I know, I just needed to say it." Her smile turned into a small smirk. "I didn't say I have to enforce it..." She hurried off and made two concoctions for Kai and Hayden.

Kara was dragged away and tossed into a small room with no windows yet it was terribly drafty. She growled in frustration until she heard her name, spoken softly, as if in disbelief. She slowly turned around and saw the brown haired beauty that was her best friend Jenny, she was beaten and her clothes were ragged and torn but she was alive. Kara's eyes filled with tears and she moved toward her as best she could in the bindings. "Jenny!"

Brisa hurried to follow Shala as she went to the room Hayden and Kai were waiting in. Shala burst into the room, quickly going to her things.

Kai turned a little surprised as the door swung open, hitting the wall with a bang. Shala ran to her things and started to mix concoctions. Kai watched a little fascinated. When she was finished she handed them the drinks. Kai looked at the lavender colour for a second, knowing it wasn't going to taste good. He shot it back, swallowing quickly. He didn't fell any different at first, but then he felt a tingle where he had his burns. He looked and he saw the wound knit back together, closing. Slowly, he returned to perfect health.

Brisa watched and when Shala gave each of the boys the lavender liquid, Brisa looked at Hayden with a smile on her face. "Do you need help drinking that?" She giggled slightly, no longer embarrassed by what Hayden did.

Hayden blushed softly but smirked. "In your dreams little girl." He drank the pastel blue colored liquid quickly, gagging a little at the taste.

Kara wanted only to wrap her arms around her best friend and hold her close. "I missed you so much! I was so worried! I thought you were..."

"Dead I know. That's what I thought you were..." Jenny replied, tears in her own eyes.

"If I had known... If I had known you were still alive... If I had known you were here... I would have come for you..."

"Hey." Jenny interrupted. "We're both fine for now, and that's what matters. I'm just sorry that you had to get caught."

Brisa turned to the door, playing with it. Pushing it back a forth, back and forth. Then she slammed it closed then opened it in a hurry, slamming it on the wall. Shala gave her a hard look, but she continued to play with the door, just not slamming it any more.

Kai jumped up, feeling the best he has for a while. "Let's go, we can discuss a plan on the way."

Hayden nodded and they dashed out.

Kara and Jenny talked the whole time, filling each other in. It turns out since Jenny had been talking with Kara's father looking for her, the Smothers had assumed that she was Kara during the attack and abducted her. She had left the bracelet as a way to leave her old self behind and to tell Kara that she had been taken in case she had survived. After being abducted she'd been making up excuses to not help them because she knew whatever it was they needed was something only Kara could do. They had just finished sharing stories when the door burst open and two men, along with Shakra, walked in.

"Ah, the tearful reunion between close friends after their supposed death." Kara glared at him angrily. "But the reunion must be short lived. Come Kara, we need your powers now."

"And what makes you think I'll help you?"

"Oh, perhaps for the safety of those you love?" He smirked. "They're coming, I remembered them leaving my dear sisters house..."

"Sister...?" Kara's eyes widened. They're hair and eyes were exactly the same. "You mean... Shala?"

Kai ran and spoke at the same time. "We are going to have to have to get as close to the capital as possible. Then we will have to stay together. Brisa do you know your way around?"

Brisa's strides were long from her air bending. "I do. I don't thing getting in is going to be easy for you. I snuck in when I could and even that had some problems. It's not as easy as you're making it sound."

Kai groaned. "Then how do we get in?"

Brisa smiled, "I fly you in."

"FLY!?" Hayden shouted.

Shakra smiled. "Yes, and now I remember them making their way here, they are discussing how to get in, little fools, by the time they arrive we will be gone." He nodded to the men and they grabbed Kara and dragged her out.

They came up on the boarder of earth tribe territory. Brisa cocked her head listening. No guards were coming. "Yes, fly. Now relaxe. I won't let you fall and...don't scream. You'll give us away." Brisa pushed air beneath her, rising in the air. She looked back at the boys and did the same. They rose into the air, not as gracefully as her. She moved them slowly through the tops of the trees.

Kai's stomach as he rose into the air. He had never flown before and right now it made him feel uncomfortable. It was like he could be dropped to the ground at any moment despite what Brisa said. Slowly then made it were there were no more trees and Brisa dropped them to the ground without a sound.

"Follow me." Brisa said, sneaking her way through the buildings. It was different being on the street instead of being on the top of the building.

Shakra talked to Kara on the way. "First, I need you to let me into the TRUE Earth Capital. I know where it is and we will only untie you long enough for you to open the entrance."

Kara glared at him furiously but said nothing.

"Awwww." Shakra said moving closer to her and giving her a sickly sweet smile. "Is the little earth bender upset?" He smirked and ran a finder down over the middle of her chest. "Well since I will keep you after all this I may as well make use of such a cute girl."

Kara's eyes widened in fear. Shakra chuckled and they continued on.

Brisa walked down the street, toward the building that was always the most busy. It surprised her that they didn't come across anyone. Every time she came here, she would see many people all over the capital. Finally they made it to the building and Brisa walked silently up the stairs. She opened the door before she got there. It squeaked as it opened and Brisa cringed. She prepared herself for a fight, but none came. "This is weird." She said quietly sending the words to the boys' ears.
She had never been in the building but decided that she should go down the stairs. That was then they met their first assailants. They were two water benders and a fire and air. They looked at them surprised.
Brisa moved quickly to knock them down. They tumbled loudly down the stairs. "Kai, freeze them."

Kai had followed trying to be as quiet at Brisa but not achieving the silent walk. On the stairs they ran into four benders. Brisa sent them flying down the stairs and she told him to freeze them. Kai quickly gathered water and froze them in it before they even realized they had fallen down the stairs. They continued on, and Kai was full of energy. He wanted Kara back and was ready to do anything to get her.

Hayden followed after them, feeling a need to run at full speed but resisting. When the assailants went to attack Brisa he was prepared to jump in and protect her but she knocked them down the stairs in seconds, he always forgot how powerful she was because of her size.

They made their way to a small clearing in the forest and Kara recognized it immediately. "Now." Shakra said as the men untied her. "Open the entrance."

Kara spun on him and shot up a piece of sharp rock, heading for his throat but he held up his hand and it fell to the ground. "What...?" The men immediately grabbed her arms.

Shakra smirked and made his way over to her. "You may not know this but there is a stone on Pantera that can cancel out any bending." He pulled a small rock on a string from around his neck. "And I have it."

"If you have something so powerful then what do you need from the Earth Tribe?" She asked, cringing at the pain in her arms from the men's tight grips.

They ended up in a hall and they traveled down it. It reminded Brisa of a dungeon. She keep all the doors closed. There were people in them but she didn't want them getting out. She would hold the doors closed with air or continuously lock the lock. Then they reached a room that was different than the rest. "I think an earth bender is in here." She stood in front of the door. It didn't sound like Kara.

Kai practically jumped through the door, expecting Kara. The room was small, dark, and it smelt. But Kai went in, expecting Kara, but found a girl that looked similar. He hid his disappointment. "You must be Jenny."

Brisa waited in the hall. She was focusing on so much already. She didn't want to push herself too far and end up with the twenty some people coming out of the rooms.

Jenny looked up at Kai and backed away out of fear, tears in her eyes. "W-W-Who are you? What have you bastards done with Kara!?" She thought that he was just another Smother.

Shakra's eyes darkened. "Because I need the match to it. And you can get it for me..." He smiled suddenly and cupped her cheek. "If you're a good girl I might make you my queen when we're done with this." He gave a small, evil chuckle. Kara cringed at his touch and he laughed out loud. "Now. Open the entrance."

Kara was shoved to the ground and released. She looked at the spot where the entrance would be with tears in her eyes and she stood, getting in her ready stance.
