<5 hours later>

Gandal's eyes gradually opened, his vision distorted. He tried getting himself to his feet but pain ran to his back, forcing him to moan. He dropped back to the ground, the smell of smoke catching his nose.

"Get up you big oaf. This thing is going to blow," Marluxia said tugging at Gandal's arms. She tried to drag him from the wreck of BlueBird.

Gandal moaned, "W-What...?" His vision flickered.

"Get up Gandal. We need to get out of here before she explodes."

Gandal blinked, realizing what she just said, without a word he hastily came out of the ship and onto red land.

Marluxia followed him and ran. As soon as she started to run, BlueBird exploded.

The shockwave brought Gandal tumbling to the ground. Not that he cared anyway, he was too tired to walk and his legs felt like they were going to snap off even when he twitched at the slightest.

Marluxia flew forward. She had shrapnel in her back now and it hurt like hell.

He moaned in pain, trying to stand but he failed. He gasped, he had never felt so bad in his life.

Marluxia lay on her stomach in pain. The shrapnel was deep.

"Are... you alright?" He managed to finally say.

"No. How much shrapnel did I catch?"

Gandal crawled over to her so he could get a better look. He wished he didn't. "A fair... bit."

"Ouch," she said. She moaned and tried to sit up but her arms gave way and she fell back to the ground.

Gandal moaned, finally coming to his feet, he staggered over to Kai, slumping next to her.

Marluxia tried again but fell onto her elbows. She stayed there for a while and shot herself backwards onto a destroyed pillar. She screamed in pain as a sharp rock poked into her back.

Gandal was shocked by the slight noise as a shudder rain through his limp body. "Kai!" He called, his voice echoing through their gloomy surroundings.
