Do you think there'll be a borderlands three? There are rumors spreading over the internet the Gearbox is planning to do so.

After the success Borderlands 2 received, I would be surprised if they don't make a new installment.

Anthony Burch, head writer at Gearbox Software, said that Borderlands 3 is planned. Gearbox Software is, according to him, already exchanging ideas about a third part in the series. Gearbox hasn't announced anything more on the subject. However, after the successful release of Borderlands 2, it would be a surprise if they would not make Borderlands 3.

So, thoughts on this?

Maybe a Borderworlds since 2 was great and Gen 7 consoles can take the load.

That would be really cool! Kinda like how it was Elder Scrolls Oblivion --> Skyrim --> Elder Scrolls: Online.

Probably with more customization and more classes to make for bigger co-op since an MMO FPS can go both ways.

Then it would be a MMOFPSRPG wouldn't it?
