Ever played the Borderlands Series, did you enjoy it? It is an RPG game crossed with an FPS (First person shooter.)

Yup, got them both on steam. Finished them all and have every class level 50 except for the Mechromancer and the Phsycho dude (I cannot be bothered to buy the expansions.)

Everyone seems to love this game, but I honestly didn't see the appeal. Then again, I rarely find shooters that I like. I do like playing shooters, but the ones that exist usually don't appeal to me. I also tend to dislike futuristic shooters, and Borderlands seems to be "futuristic" in nature.

I have always liked futuristic themed games. I am always curious of what the future might/could look like. Also, I love the techy feel

Borderlands One is pretty cool. I think you should've played BL1 before number 2. BL2 has references to the first game and it makes it easier to understand when it comes to main missions

I've seen this game and I've had friends tell me to play it and that it was a good game, but I never have.

I completed Borderlands 1 twice, to 100%. Once when I had a 360, and once on my PS3. Honestly, after doing that I burned out on the series. I don't like Borderlands 2 as much at all. Gaige is a fun character to play as, but beyond that it's just...boring.
