Gandal yelped as a hot cinder of lavar burnt his skin, "What is this now?" He cried, elevating himself so no more of the burning cinders would touch him.

"Is everyone okay?" Hunter yelled, over the sound of high-pitched gisers

"Im..." he looks around, only to be greeted by the warmness of... everything....
"YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSTHIS PLACE IS AWESOME AND OUR ADVENTURES WILL BE AWESOME...." he ran around excitedly, grinning widely at all the ash. and lava. can't forget about the epic lava.

"You better settle down," Hunter scowled.

Gandal scowled, "Are you going to defeat the boss by screaming in its ear and running around it excitedly, Mmm... I don't think so. Be serious for gods sake." He scowled again, going higher into the air, "Why the hell did it have to be a volcano...?"

Gandal looked at Hunter and saw that he started melting.

Vidal laughed at Merlin's reaction. "I'm glad to see you are happy," she said. It wasn't often she laughed. "Oh. Do you still have your rabbit?"

"Where's your rabbit?" Hunter giggled.

"Huh? oh right, Ember...." he reaches into his pouch and pulls out the rabbit, then proceeds to carry it everywhere while he fanboyed over the features of this newfound treasure trove.

"This place is way too hot!" Hunter stated.

"I agree. Ember might get heat exhastion if she stays much longer. We should be going."

"IM ICE! I AM MELTING HERE!"

"Can we leave please. Gandal, do you think you can use your shadows to get us out of here?"

"NO, we have to go to the lava fortress, to defeat the boss."

"I meant out of the volcano. Not this area."

"The boss lives in the deepest part of the volcanoe. We are at the top."

Gandal laughed, "You need me to actually use my powers now Vidal?" He laughed again and clapped his hands, a tight, black bubble exploded around them. A long wheezing sound filled the air as the hot air inside the bubble was exhaled and replaced by cool air.

"That is much much better...."

Merlin, noticing that his furry companion was noticably weaker, gave him (or was it a her?) to Vidal. "So... do we jump into the volcano? cause that would be SOOOO AWESOME! and with your little bubbles we could just drop down and beat up the boss! And then we can go and look at the other piles of ash and lava streams!" He gave a big grin, and hoped that the others would agree with his plan.

Gandal looked at Merlin, "So, your saying you want us all dead because if we hit the lava, we will turn into something called: nothing." He shook his head, sighing at how hot the little rabbit looked.

"What? wait can't your shadow bubble like protect you from it...?" He sighed, disappointed at how much his companions were negatively affected by the heat, and how they can't just jump into the volcano....
"What else could we do?"

"I guess... we can try." Gandal suggested, lowering the bubble slowly, "But if the lava surpasses the shield, you better do something about it..." He sounded uncertain about delving into the volcano but he would try nevertheless.

Vidal held the rabbit close to her face. She whispered in it's ear and snuggled it. A tear fell down her face and into Ember's fur. The rabbit glowed a little then went back to it's normal state. She had become healthy again. "She is alright... I will look after her while we are here. And Gandal, So long as everyone is touching me when we get hit by lava, we will all survive."

"Master has summoned me. I will be back soon."

"OPEN THE PORTAL GUARDIAN!"
