Gandal nodded, "Okay." he moved forward swiftly, placing a soft grip on Vidal's arm. He then raised his eyes to the heavens. The dark bubble came off the cliff, hovering to the left, below them, lava exploded and ruptured, touching the sphere abrubtly. Then; they rushed down, the lava coming quickly...

Vidal knew that something was going to happen, she just didn't know what. How did that saying go again? Expect the Unexpected? Yeah. That was going to happen.

Quicker and quicker they approached the pool of lava... when suddenly... splash. A sound mixed between a splash of water and the roaring of fire. Gandal's grip tightened on Vidal's arm as the outside of the sphere was covered with a soft bubbling red.

Gandal smiled with relief, "Looked... like it worked." He looked at Chill, "Can you provide some snow or something?"

Chill quickly came back through an ice portal.

"What do ya want?"

Something to make this trip a little easier would be nice.

Suddenly, a ice bridge appeared..

"Thank you." Vidal wanted to walk towards it but Gandal was still holding on to her arm. "You can let go now."

"Let go now!"

Gandal let go quickly, noticing how awkward they were being, the shadow bubble extended to form a shield around the bridge as they walked towards a hole in the side of the volcano.

"That was just very awkward Gandal," Hunter laughed, shaking his head.

"Not at all. If he hadn't of been touching me and the bubble had burst, he'd be deadright now."

Gandal said nothing, back to his soppy mood, his shoulders slumped and he scowled at the two as he walked across the bridge.

Vidal laughed. She liked this new sensation. Laughing was nice.

Suddenly, the ice bridge melted, and the heroes fell on solid rock. Then fire minions strolled up to the heroes.

"Well that was a nice surprise," Vidal said.

Gandal clapped his hands as the shadow bubble ruptureed and dissapeared into the hot embers of the volcano. Gandal flew his hands through the air swiftly as a dark sword came to his hands and he slashed at the fire monsters.

There wasn't enough light for Vidal to sommon her powers. She looked over to Chill and sighed. "Fine. But the sword only."

Ganjdal destroyed the last of the fire minions, piles of ashes remaining on the rokcy ground.

"Alright then. No sword required." She smiled. "Thank you Gandal."

Aquados jumped out of the volcano and helped Gandal.

Gandal smiled, 'Boss coming up!' He shouted enthusiasticially as he continued the trek down the long dark cave. Lava around him spluttered from small craters, sending ambers onto the cold, hard ground.
