Goldfish will lose their orange/golden/yellow (whatever colour your goldfish is) colour if they are kept in a dark room.

Female lions are the ones to hunt. Male lions just 'protect' the land. Really the males just chill lazily all day, but hey if the females let that go down I'm fine with it. But I do have to give credit to the males, they will fight to keep their pride safe, so maybe they aren't completely lazy.
