The colour of your dog affects its personality because the gene that does pigment also plays a hand in colour. So if you have a red dog than it is more likely to be finicky.

No. It is something the animal is born with. When the fur starts to turn gray, the dog's personality doesn't necessary change. It could become more lazy but that's from age not the gene.

Cat's have two colour sensors (we have three). Those are blue and yellow so cats mostly see in bluish colours. The three we have are blue, red, and yellow.
