Gandal nodded, touching her arm as a new landscape unfolded around them; an island in the middle of a lake.

"Thank you," she sighed.

"Feel better?" he said slowly. A thick fog swirled around them; adding an errie aura.

"A little. Thank you," she breathed.

Gandal nodded; finding the comfort of a nearby tree.

Marluxia stood and staggered over to the lake. She fell into the shallow water and lay there. The water surrounded her and healed her wounds.

"Okay then..." He mumbled awkwardly; expecting her to rise... sometime.

Marluxia sat up abruptly and looked back at Gandal. "I need maybe two hours sleep. It will take some sleeping off to do," she said with a smile before diving into the lake.

"Oh..." He said awkwardly; trying to shift into a comfortable position before he dozed off into a fitful sleep.

Marluxia shut her eyes and breathed evenly under the water. She fell into a deep sleep before she even hit the bottom of the lake.

Marluxia opened her eyes wide and suddenly. She burst out of the lake and landed on it's bank in front of Gandal. She strained her hair. "Morning," she said with a warm smile.

Gandal's eyes flickered open at the sudden burst of noise and the blast of water which had sprayed on him. He smiled, "Mornin'!" He moved to his feet, "How ya feeling?"

"Much better. Thank you. It's a lovely morning isn't it?" She smiled warmly.

"I guess it is." He said quietly, his voice low and concerned.

"What's wrong?" she asked, a frown replacing the smile on her delicate face.

"I don't know what to do anymore." He sighed, looking away into the foggy distance.

She placed a hand on his shoulder. "We have each other. Staying alive id=s our main priority right now." She removed her hand and sat on the ground cross-legged.

Gandal nodded, moving back to the tree and saying nothing.

"Gandal... Have you ever had the feeling that your being watched?" she said turning her head to him.

"Uh... On the rare occasion? Yeah." He said, "Err... why do you ask?

"Do you have that feeling now?"

"Not... really..." He cocked his head, moving towards her.

"That's good. For you at least. I've felt like I've been watched ever since I exhausted my powers. Is that normal?"

"I don't think so." He said slowly, his heart skipped a beat at the sound of the crunch of leaves.
