One place, two worlds. During the day, 'good' people live and world. They fear the evil that comes at night and guard against it the best they can. As the sun sets, everyone but the guards go into their homes, hoping no night creatures attack. With the moon out, the night creatures come out, considered to be 'evil' and 'demons' they rule the night. Most are evil, living their life with fun including some evil things, but not all of them are evil. So as an equinox approaches, the people of the day are worried, because speak of a take over is said to be coming.
Human rule both worlds but there are creatures for each specific time. It is one land but there is a huge divide between the kingdoms. Both kinds can go out during the day or night but most stay to their time due to the possibilities of being attacked by guards or night creatures.

Natalie pulled her hood closer to her, trying to hide her hair and face. Being a blonde with light skin will alert people of her true side. She did not want them to know, she just wanted to watch them. The sun was going soon down and she had just got there, but she would have to leave soon too. She needed to get home before her father realized that she was out. But Natalie loved watching the people of the light, they seemed to peaceful and innocent, nothing like the people she is forced to keep company with.
Natalie sits on the bench a little longer, enjoying the last rays of light and time before returning.

Jenna always loved the Night and she wondered why, is it because it's in her family? No she knew that her family has some of sort secrets that were kept from her but she was aware that they were hiding something from her especially it seems she can't even remembered her childhood life her childhood remained a mystery to her. She wondered what really happened to her during her childhood.

She stared at the sky for awhile and pondered for awhile.

Natalie got up before the colours of the sunset could make their way to the sky. The streets were already becoming barren anyway.
She took a different path home, crossing in one specific spot to change her clothes. She did not want to be caught with Day person clothing. She smoothed out the black dress before continuing. The sky growing dark, Natalie could already see the moon half full.

(it's alright.. i am gonna put my character profile later by the way she is actually from the night (she actually doesn't know that yet) but she lives in the day time)

Jenna continue to stare at the sky as the day slowly becomes night. She smiled to herself as the sky becomes twilight she stayed there for awhile then she went home.

Natalie had to run the rest of the way, the huge dress hindering her. Creatures were already stirring, impatient to begin their tirade. She knew the castle will be waking up soon, and she needed to get there before they notice her appetence. She made it to the gate and ran around to the part she where she threw a rope over. She quickly climbed it, taking the rope with her, and jumped to the ground on the other side. Natalie sprinted to the window she left cracked, opens it, and climbs in. She ran to her room, a few people in the castle already awake. They did not question her, not wanting to upset her or her father with their questions.
Finally she made it to her room and she slipped in, throwing the rope in her closet. Edith was going to be here soon, to begin her night, so Natalie changed into sleep clothes and jumped into bed. She was always so wound up after going on those trips that she was unable to sleep when she returned home. This time was no different.
The sun finally fell and the roars of different beasts filled the air. It was time for the to have some fun.

Jenna went home to the mansion where they lived. She entered the mansion greeting everyone who she passed by on the way to her room. She went up to her room to get ready for dinner so she quickly change into her house wear and went downstairs to the dining area to eat.

Edith opened her door, coming to her bed to 'wake' her. She was an old lady with wrinkles all over her face and a short tempter. She had to be the only one capable of waking me up when I want to stay in bed.
Natalie sat up, "I'm awake."
"Good." Edith went to her closet instead and grabbed something for her to wear for the day. "Put this on and do your hair. Your father had some things planned for you." And she sat by the door, reading a book, she did not want to leave and have her fall back to sleep but she did not want to preoccupy herself with what Natalie was doing. So she read.
Natalie sat there for a while, not wanting to see her father. Anytime he requests her presence, it is about nothing good.
"Get moving." Edith snapped from her seat.
Natalie rolled her eyes and changed quickly. She brushed out her hair for the second time today and styled it into the braid that twisted around her head. She stood in front of Edith. "I am ready."
Edith snapped her book shut. "It's about time. It's not nice to leave the king waiting, you should know that he is impatient."
She nods. Natalie knew better than anyone how impatient her father could be.

When she entered the dining room she found her dad already eating. He look up at her and smiled

"Oh hi there Jenna please take a sit tell me and how is your day and did you find something interesting?"

"It was alright and not yet father." She answered as she sit down on one of the chairs and began to eat her dad knew she loves exploring especially when it comes the supernatural. They talk for awhile as they eat their dinner.

Edith closed the door to her father's study behind Natalie. She took a few steps forward, watching her father look out the window.
"It's nice of you to join me, Natalie." He turned, his light hair held back in a short pony tail. His black, silk like cape flowing around him. A group of strings with jewels upon it was tied around his head, showing his kingly power. Earlier, while doing her hair, Natalie had tied one in with her hair do, but hers was not as gaudy.
"Hello, father. Why is it that you call me here?" She took a few more steps forward so she stood in front of his desk.
"I wanted to discuss my plan. You know of the equinox coming up." He sat in his desk chair, looking up her for an answer.
"Yes." Natalie stood, unable to sit until the king offered it to her.
"We are planning to attack at this time." The king continued.
This was the first Natalie had heard of this. It is said that people of the night are evil and all they want to do is cause pain. Her father was like that to a point, but he wasn't completely evil. But Natalie did not think that she had much 'evil' in her, not like the rest of them. The idea of attacking the day people did not sit well with her, but if she voiced these opinions then her father would put her in the dungeon for treason.
"Yes." Natalie said instead.
"And I will need you for a special task." He shuffled through the papers on his desk.
"And what is that?" Natalie's stomach dropped. She couldn't say no but she did not want to help in a war that will kill many people.
"It is well known that the night beasts react well to you. They are untrainable but they seem to listen to your guidance. If we are to win this war, I will need you to get them to fight for us." He looked up at her again, gauging her response.
Natalie keep her face even, not revealing the sadness within.
"We know of your travels to the day city, Natalie. We are not ignorant to what you have been doing and possibly feeling. You seem reluctant, but you do not realize one thing, my dear daughter."
"And what is that?" Natalie sat down, no longer caring that he had not offered her, he seemed unphased by it.
"That the light people are just as evil as we are, their light just keeps their evil deeds hidden. They have oppressed us and it now time we take our rightful place are rulers of day and night." The king spoke with much passion, making Natalie want to join his a little more.
Natalie sighed. "I will do as you say father, but only because it is your decision and I do not want to be harmed for disobeying your order. But I do wish to continue to watch the day people."
The king laughed. "Do what you will, as long as the job gets done. Now you may go. You have a day to prepare and then you must start to gather the beast army." He waved his hand as a way of sending Natalie away.
She got up and backed out of the room. "As you say."
Natalie hurried back to her room, not wanting to do this but not seeing any other choice.

After having dinner and talking to her father. Jenna went back to her own room on the way there she glanced out of the window then suddenly her head started to ache really badly. She grabbed her head in pain at the same she started to having some flashbacks or visions making her scream in pain and of course one of the servants who was just passing by through the hallway heard and saw this so she ran over to her.

"Lady Jenna! Are you okay?" She asked in a worried tone but Jenna moaned in pain.

"Oww..,my... head..not..sure....why...it..suddenly...aches...Betty.." She muttered in pain causing her to lose consciousness luckily Betty was able catch her before hitting the ground. She asked for someone to help her carry Jenna to her room.

Natalie wandered outside, letting the cool night air clear her head. She had no choice, she had to do this even if she didn't like it.
Natalie went into the woods, waiting for the first monster to find her. People call them monsters, these creatures of the night, but she saw them differently. Natalie could see the personalities and feelings beneath them, which is why most of them like her. She seems past the 'evil' feelings and the constant need for fun and sees the lonely animal below it.
There was a roar in the distance, close to the day village, and Natalie sprinted toward it, happy she changed into pants and a shirt. She did not want the creature to be harmed by the day guards or the creature to hurt the day people. But based on the roar, it will be difficult to stop the fight if one had already broken out. The creature was a Prima and they are large cat like creatures that have a horrible temper if awoken.
Natalie got to where the roar took place and it was on a large noble's land, and guards were already surrounding the Prima that was hidden in a tree, afraid. It was younger, young enough to still be with its mother, and seemed to have wandered too far from home. The guards were taking aim with their arrows and before Natalie could shout 'No' the arrows were loosened from their notches. This will not be an easy battle, but Natalie would not back down, deaths of the Prima or day guards was not something she was going to let happen.

Betty and another servant, Bea carried Jenna to her room which is luckily nearby. They walk until they reach a very large door. Betty opened the door for them and Bea entered and place Jenna on the bed slowly making sure not wake her up. Then suddenly they heard a loud roar somewhere both of them exchange glances.

They quickly left the room to try find out what is going on totally unaware that Jenna starting to wake up.

"Uhm.." She moaned in pain, clenching her head. "Damn flashbacks" she muttered under her breath. There was another roar from the distance, this made look her at out of the window.

The airs found their mark, implanting themselves in the Prima's side. This would not harm the creature in the slightest but it loosened another roar anyway. The day guards were clueless as to how to stop the night creatures. Arrows to a Prima's side will not kill it, let alone harm it, just make it angry. The Prima jumped from the tree, landing on the of the guards and squaring off with the others. Its teeth were bared showing how its fear had turned to anger. This maybe a young one, but it was still deadly.
Natalie ran toward them, not caring that the guards would also see her as an enemy. "Stop. Don't harm them." She shouted to the Prima. The guards were still blundering for their swords, showing how little experience in battle they had.
The Prima turned to her, still anger but its eyes showed the fear beneath it. Natalie made it and stood between the guards and the Prima. She faced the guards, unafraid that the angry Prima would attack her.
The guards had their swords out and began to close the distance between them. They're going to attack me too? She concluded. It seems the stupid guards did not realize that she just saved their lives.

Jenna ran out of the room and towards where the roar is, there she witness the prima attack the guards and a young girl saving them but the guards thought the girl was an enemy even she saved them from the Prima.

The guards drew closer and Natalie backed up and ran into the soft fur of the Prima. It nuzzled it's face to hers, stepping out from behind her. It was going to attack them to help protect her. Natalie didn't want that to happen, so she had to use the only weapon she had, her voice.
"Don't attack it or me. We want to leave in peace." She hoped that this would talk some since into them, but Day guards are especially cruel when it comes to night creatures.
One of them scoffed at her comment, and another said, "None of you night people want peace."
Natalie couldn't help but roll her eyes, stupid guards.
And again, she is left with no way of defense, so she had to go for something else, retreat.
A low growl was rumbling in the Prima's chest, its lip pulled back to reveal large teeth, eager to rip flesh. Natalie put her hand on it's side, drawling its attention from them. "Don't hurt them, we have to leave."

Jenna rolled her eyes at the one of the guards' comment so she slowly approached them and said

"What kind of guards are you, can you see that she saved you asses by stopping the Prima from attcking you then you try to kill them" she placed her hands on her hips, looking annoyed by the guards' action. "And I don't care if she is a night person at all not all of them are bad."

The guards weren't listening, too focused on their 'enemies'. "Get behind me, Lady Jenna." A youngish guard stood in front of her. "These things are dangerous."
The guards may not have heard her, but Natalie did. She was flabbergasted by it, she thought that she was the only person who thought that way. "I'm Gray," Natalie said to Lady Jenna. "Find me in the woods."
Natalie jumped on the back of the Prima, it was large enough to ride like a horse even at its young age. She leaned forward, "Let's go."
It turned and ran, happy to get away from the guards, into the woods at the far end of the property. Natalie slowed it down and got off the Prima's back. "Thank you." She rubbed it's muzzle. "I'll call you Augest, now, where's your mother?"
A low whine came from him and a roar in the distance alerted them to where she was. It was a desperate roar, sad and worried and more than a little ticked off. Augest nuzzled Natalie's face one more time before running toward it.
"I'm happy that worked out for you." She smiled after him.

Jenna's eye twitched when the guards ingnored her. She watched as the girl's expression change into a shock one then she introduced herself as Gray who mentioned about meeting her in the forest. She watched Gray as she jump on the back of the prima and ran to the forest.

hmm.. How interesting.. she thought to herself

Natalie waited in the forest, seeing if Lady Jenna would make her way here. She wanted to talk to her, she was so different from other Day people. They usually thing of themselves as high and mighty people, better than everyone else. This girl seemed like herself, knowing that everyone was equal and the time of day just kept them apart.
Natalie looked up at the sky, admiring the stars. The night people hated the stars and the moon, they think of it as day trying to steal the night away. Natalie thought of it as more of a metaphor for the people of the world. Most people have darkness in them but there is also light there, keeping them from evil.

Jenna walked toward the forest where the girl named Gray waited. She glanced at the sky and noticed that there are a lot stars which she found beautiful she walk until she saw Gray there waiting for her and she approached her.

Natalie turned when she heard who she assumed was Lady Jenna approach. A smile grew on her face when it was her, she came. "Hello, Lady Jenna." She sat down on a fallen tree, poised for quick movement if it were necessary. "I was wondering why you did not want the guards to attack. It just seems so odd for a Day person to think like that."

"Oh about them, well.. I saw you stop the prima from attacking them but obviously they didn't even realized that you saved them" Jenna responded. "And I am really curious about the Night people they are seems to interesting and mysterious creatures even some of the other well most of the day people hated them" then she look at Gray waiting for her reaction.

Natalie nodded, she had thought so. She did not expect the day people to like the night people. It was interesting to find a girl that was just like her in a way, just on the other side. "You seem like a nice girl. Much like myself, you find everyone equal. It is nice to know that I am not alone with these thoughts." Natalie got up, ready to search for more creatures.

"Yeah.. My father taught me how treat people equality especially about the night people he even doesnt mind if go exploring around the area..sometimes my father is so mysterious and i wonder why." Jenna said stretching then she looks at Gray. "So what are you up too?"

Natalie stops and looks back at Lady Jenna, she seems strange. "I'm searching for creatures...." She was about to continue, but stopped herself. This girl was a day person and would not want to know of the coming war.
Natalie shivered, feeling eyes on her. "Speaking of which." She turns to the nearest tree and scales it, looking for the little creature. It jumped form branch to branch, knowing it was discovered and knew secrecy was no longer needed. It settled in front of Natalie and screamed in her face, showing it's short pointy teeth. When it looked at her, it calmed down, closing its mouth. The Stilk put it's furless arms down and looked at her with huge eyes. It was the size of a small child and Natalie picked it up, unafraid. It struggled a little, wanting to fly away. Natalie jumped to the ground with the Stilk in her arms, touching it's surprisingly soft skin.
Stilks are monkey like creatures at first glance. But they have huge eyes, many pointy teeth, no fur, and the most surprising of all, a membrane connecting their arms to their bodies making them able to fly. They love causing mischief and can get really riled up. This one is surprisingly calm.
Natalie looked to Lady Jenna to see her reaction to the night 'beast'.
