Natalie sighed, heading home. She needed a break. But the second that she got to her room, a servant was waiting there. "My father?" Natalie asked.
The servant nodded and lead the way. Natalie was pushed into the door and it closed with a loud click behind her. She moved forward into his study to sit at the chair in front of his desk.
"You wanted to see me?" She sat proper and straight, giving him nothing to criticize.
Her father took his seat at his desk. "Yes. I want to know how you have progressed with the night creatures." He looked at some paper on his desk.
Natalie wanted to shrug but that wouldn't be very queenly of her. "It is going well, father, I am working to find them though but they try and elude me. I am making progress though."
Her father nodded. "Good. Now I need it finished by the end of the month. How ever many you gather in that time is what we have. We are relying on you to win this war, Natalie."
Natalie nodded sadly. She didn't want to be the deciding factor.
"Now, hurry along and gather as many as you can find." He said, already shifting his attention to papers on his desk.
Natalie got up and left, going to her room to nap. She had not been getting enough sleep lately and she didn't want to search the woods right now, so sleep was the best option.
Still wearing her muddy boots, she crawled into bed and fell asleep.

Jenna managed to fall asleep on the book she was reading and she found herself dreaming about something which turned out of the past, the very distant past there she found a young little  girl who looks exactly like her. She watched her play with two familiar boys in a big garden for awhile then she finally found herself awaking up from the dream. She look around and realized that she was still in the library reading a book. She tried to remember the dream she had.

What was that dream? she thought herself it seems real..it feels like it happened before to me..and who were those boys with me?

Natalie was woken up a few hours later by Edith's proclamation. "You slept in your muddy boots! You ruined your bed spread." She shouted. "Get out of that bed. Why would you even want to do that? That wouldn't even be comfortable." She was shouting, beating her with a rag out of anger, but not hard.
"Calm down, Edith. It's okay. I didn't mean to, I was just too tired." Natalie got out of bed, still wearing her clothes from earlier. She felt dirty from running around so much.
"Calm down? This is the third time you did this in a month. The cleaning woman hate me for the way you treat your things. Do it again and I am no longer going to get sheets." Edith crossed her arms.
Natalie rolled her eyes. Why did I have to get stuck with the only servant who it stern? But she nodded.
Grabbing clothes, Natalie went to the bath room where the air was think with the steam from the warm water. She stripped quickly and submerged, cleaning quickly. She got out and got dressed. Once a week she was required to go to dinner with her father and his advisers. She tried to get out of it when she was little but the beating she received for missing them was worse than attending.
Natalie went back to her room, drying her hair with her towel. Edith grumbled as she came over and fixed her hair. "There. The dinner starts soon but you should go over there now."
Natalie nodded. Getting up in her huge black dress. She always wondered why they wore such dark colours. Their skin was pale from never going in the sun and wearing dark colours drew attention that, maybe that was the reason they wore such colours.
Natalie entered the hall and a few others were already there, but not her father. She greeted them, not really paying attention. She many have been born a princess but she did not want to be queen.

Jenna yawned and stretched her arm since she was still reading the book. She decided to bring the book to her room with her so she stood up and start to walk towards her room until she reached a large door she opened it and enter she removed her clothes and changed into her nightwear before that she glanced at the window and it was really late which she doesn't care.

The party must be done already.. she thought while getting ready for bed and few minutes later she found herself fast asleep on her bed.

Natalie sat down only to have to get back up as her father entered. He waved his hand at everyone who now stood and they took their seats again including Natalie. "I am happy to say that all the planning is going smoothly. I hope to have everything set in stone by the end of the day." The King took his seat at the end of the table and the food was brought it. Food was shared and conversation lulled as food was shoved in mouths. Natalie just sat there, eating few small bites, barely able to eat anything with such eating habits displayed.
Her father swallowed the last of his food, looking to Natalie. "I hope you will have all the dark monsters gathered by the end of the week." He wiped his dirty mouth with his napkin.
Natalie nodded, resisting the urge to correct him and his use of monsters. "I will try my best, but even for me the creatures don't always like to cooperate."
Her father nodded, surprisingly relaxed about that. "I think I have discovered a weak spot in them and exploiting that will get us the upper hand."
Natalie perked up, looking to her father. She technically was meant to speak unless spoken to but she couldn't help the question from falling from her lips. "What weakness?"
Her father smiled, getting up to leave. Everyone else was finished and the plates were taken from the room. Before her father pushed though the door he said just loud enough for her to hear. "I'll let it be a surprise."
Natalie looked at the empty room, mind reeling. What did her father have planned that could turn the tides as much as the dark creatures would?

Jenna woke up and start to feel uneasy about something. She knew that something bad will happen soon but she wonders when. She look out of the window and noticed it's still dark outside.

I am so worried what is coming for us..something big is coming I just know it something bad will happen soon...but what..

As the sun began to rise, so did Natalie. She went to the light city again, this time to try and understand where they had a weak spot. Natalie had been here more than any of the dark people and she had never seen one. She only two days to figure it out, because she didn't want war, not for the animals or for the light people. That was too much destruction for Natalie to stomach.
Natalie wandered the streets, thinking about it. She was too lost in her thoughts to notice the light guard following her. Before Natalie could come up with a single answer to her father's invasion tactic, a hood was thrown over her head and a firm knock to her head made her black out.

A few hours she woke up, in a chair which she was tired to. Her head was pounding and light filled the room, not helping her head much. She squinted against the light to see someone who looked rather official in his light guard gear. Natalie's mind was a fog and she wasn't able to make a coherent thought, but from what was rambling around her head, she knew that this was not a good position to be in.

Jenna woke up with a start and didnt realized that she fallen asleep on her bed especially that she woke up with a uneasy feeling a few hours ago which didn't let her sleep She look out of the window and saw it was already daylight. She got up and get ready for the day. She went down the stairs to eat some breakfast.

"Goodmorning Jenna, how's your sleep?" greeted a familiar voice. She turned around and saw a very familiar face with a long black hair and red eyes and who was wearing a beautiful red dress.

"Raye? Is that you?" She replied in shock when she saw her longtime friend, Raye who was a noble like her. "What brings you here?"

"A lot of Stuff has happened I am sure you felt it too.." Her friend told her seriously. Jenna nodded at her words.

Natalie licked her dry lips, trying to get her thoughts together. Before that happened, the man stepped forward. "What are you doing here?" He was a large man and the voice seemed to come from his gut.
Natalie cringed from how loud his voice was. She tried to speak, but wasn't able to say anything. She swallowed and tried again. "I have no idea what I am doing here? I don't even know where here is." Natalie knew she was being sarcastic and rude, but her head hurt.
The man grumbled. "You are a person of the night, are you not?"
Natalie looked down at her clothes, seeing the light people's attire. So how did they know she was of the dark? She wet her lips again before speaking. "I want to know why I am here." She avoided the question.
The corners of the man's lips turned up. "Because we know you are a spy for the dark people and we can't have that, can we?"
Natalie looked at him, confusion showing on her face. "But...I'm not a spy."
The man paused, wondering if he should believe her, "We'll see." And he left the room.

Jenna and Raye talked for awhile then Raye looked at her seriously. Jenna knew this look too well. She was aware that her bestfriend was sort of a psychic.

"So what did you see?" She asked her.

"Something really big is coming. I felt really uneasy ever since I saw the vision, the vision of destruction and it is something do with the Night people. They are planning something big but I dont know what."

Jenna was beyond shocked she felt it too, the uneasiness from last night the time when she woke up from a dream. She took a deep breath and told Raye everything she felt lastnight including her flashbacks and the meeting with Gray few days ago. Raye remained in deep thought as she listened to her.

"Jen, You need find out more about those flashbacks you are having and what it means, something is up and about this Gray girl.. You need to be careful around her she is up to something.. I just know it especially you mentioned about her gathering some night creatures. I just dont want to to lose you, you were the only friend I had"

Jenna nodded and hugs her. "Sure, Raye I will be careful.

Natalie sat in there for a few hours, she had no idea what time it was and she had begun to worry that her father would come to realize she was missing. He would be frantic and if or when he realizes that it was the day people who took me, he is not going to hesitate to attack.
The door to Natalie's tiny room opened again. This time it was a different guy who walked in. He was younger than the other one but just as intimidating. "What do the night people know of us?"
Natalie just stared, tired of all these assumptions.
The man came forward and drew back his hand as if he was going to backhand her. "What do the night people know of us due to your spy work?"
Natalie began to glare, gaze unwavering. "They know nothing because of me. I am not a spy."
The man rolled his eyes. "If you are not a spy, what are you?" He asked mockingly.
Natalie paused, not knowing what to say. "I am simply curious, nothing more."
The man gave her an odd look before walking out.
Natalie was getting annoyed with all of this. They didn't even listen to her whole story, wouldn't even let her tell it. They just assumed the worst because she was a dark person.
Natalie didn't have any choice, she sat and waited.

After her talk with Raye, Jenna found herself in a hallway towards the dungeons. The hallway was lighted. She knew this hallway too well. She has been here before when she was exploring the mansion as a child. She don't remember arriving here she must be busy thinking that she didn't even notice that she was walking through here.

She looked around the place until she saw some guards walking by, talking about some spy from the Night people that they caught. It made her think. a spy? I wonder who is it? she pondered while watching them pass by.

Natalie felt herself nodding off, her body worn out from the adrenaline running through her veins. Her eyes started to close. She knew that by now, her father would realize that she was gone, the word would have spread that the light people have captured a dark spy and her father would have come to the conclusion that it was indeed Natalie who they had captured.
Natalie was worried, her father is sure to attack early to get her back. But Natalie didn't want him to, she wanted him to leave her, to not cause war. But she had no way to tell him that.
Another guard walked in, pulling Natalie from her sleepy thoughts. "Why are you here?" He asked, looking like he was willing to listen. He wasn't dressed like the guards and his eyes were open instead of accusing.
Natalie felt herself opening up to him, talking. She didn't tell him about her father's plans because that would make her a trader, a wrong punishable by death. But she told him that she was just a curious girl wanting to know more about the world than darkness.
He gave her a small smile. "I believe you and I will work to make them too." He gave her one last look before leaving the room.

Jenna watches the guards pass by her then she quietly sneak into the dungeons. She was really curious about this spy that they were talking about. She made sure that no one was following her so she run through the dim lighted hallway until she saw a guard who was not even wearing a uniform came out of a room, making her even more curious of what is in the room.

"Hmm.."

She waited for the guard to disappear from the hallway when he did she quietly approached the door and opened it revealing a very familiar face who was tied to the chair.

"Gray?" She exclaimed in shocked
