The figure turned back to the women and smiled. "I'll be friendly now. My name is Marluxia. Yours?" she said.

Gandal's nose twitched, his mind raced and he turned to face the cloaked figure. He grunted as he rose, his sword jingling from his waste. "Did you just say something?" He boomed.

"Waht do you think meatloaf? Of course I did," Marluxia said, staying seated.

think of the treasure... think of the treasure... think of the treasure... Just thought at the sight of the lumbering buffoon.

Suddenly drinks started rumbling like an earthquake until they exploded into shards of metal. Gandal walked slowly towards the cloaked figure, the ground shaking. His eyes flashed blue and the walls shook with force.

"Gandal!" Just shouted standing between him and Marluxia.

Marluxia eyed this man as he showed his power. She began to laugh as the drinks spilled over the floor. "This is most entertaining," she said. Her eyes glowed a clear, watery blue as she lifted the liquid from the floor and tables, casting her sights on the drunken man. The beer splashed him with a force that knocked him to the ground. Her eyes turned back to there normal green colour and she stood to leave.

Just followed Marluxia.
"How'd you do that?" Just asked

"How do you think?" she asked. Isn't it obvious? she thought bitterly.

"Magic?"

"That would be a damn good guess now wouldn't it?" Marluxia said, looking out to the water. She extended her arm and closed her eyes. She felt her power crawl its way up her body to her and and heard the water move below her. She opened her eyes which had changed back to the water blue that it was before and made a rose out of the water in the air.

Gandal felt anger crawl into his head. 'You drew the last straw!' He spat, clapping his hands. The floor exploded, splinters flying in the air. People rushed out of the tavern quickly. The roof buckled and caved in, slamming to the ground on top of the three.

"well I fell useless."

Marluxia crawled from the wreck clutching her side in pain. She only had a few scatches from the blast but could feel a bruise on her side. "Just!" she yelled. Not able to find her.

Gandal exploded from the destruction roaring with victory.

Marluxia removes the hood that conceales her hair and most of her face revealing her raven black hair, her eyes had returned back to their normal green colour. She stared at the man before her trying to remember his name. Gandal, she remembered now. "We both know what you are," she said. "and I don't want to hurt you. But I have to do something. You've been running solo and free for way too long. Gandal." She extended her arm and shut her eyes. I'm sorry, she said in her mind, progecting it towards him in the hope that he would believe her. She heard the water sway behind her and opened her eyes to reveal their watery colour. She lifted the water and moved it towards him. But she moved the water under the rubble and lifted it instead. She no more wanted to hurt him than she wanted to seem weak. But life was more valuable than telepaths. She moved the rubble into the ports water and receaded her power. Her eyes slowly turned back to their normal colour. Marluxia stumbled towards Gandal and fell weak onto his body. "I'm sorry," she said before falling unconcious.

"Gandal pick her up and follow me. We'll take her to my ship."

As a man came running past and trips over Just's foot.
"Ow!" feeling clumsy.

Gandal grabbed Marluxia, delicately putting her over his broad shoulder.
'Let's go, Just.'

"Hey!, what about me?" staggeringly getting up off the ground and running towards Gandal.

Gandal grabbed memo pushing him away.
'WHO ARE YOU!?'

"I am Captain Nemo" sounding heroic "I live around here, through that cave, I was running from imminent danger. Please don't hurt me"

I have work to do... Gandal said in his head starting to walk away.
